On stage at their E3 press conference just minutes ago, Microsoft Studios announced three new titles for Xbox 360. They are Ascend: New Gods, LocoCycle and Matter. Though it has not been explicitly stated, it's believed that they are all XBLA titles.
Ascend: New Gods is from Signal Studios, the developers behind Toy Soldiers. It’s an action RPG in which you play as Caos, a “gigantic breed of mighty warriors created to serve the will of the Gods.” It will allow you to “wage war against Xbox 360 players from your mobile phone, gain power and prestige, and transfer it all to your console — anywhere, anytime.”
LocoCycle is Twisted Pixel’s new one. They're the chaps that made 'Splosion Man and The Gunstringer. Hitting in 2013, it’s about a badass futuristic motorbike assassin called I.R.I.S. We assume. Details are scarse.
Last up, Matter is a Kinect game from Pirates of the Caribbean director Gore Verbinsk also coming in 2013i. Looks like it will be a puzzler of sorts set in a morphing, metal world. The star of the game appears to be a robotic sphere not too dissimilar to Guilty Spark.
