THQ has released some more Saints Row: The Third DLC over Xbox Live. It’s called the Witches & Wieners pack.

Witches & Wieners is a largely cosmetic add-on featuring a hot dog outfit, a ninja costume, a halo and some horns. Plus, you can also dress as a witch and go soaring into the sky on a functional broomstick. Which is kinda cool, we guess.

Weighing in at 121.96 MB and costing 240 MSP, Witches & Wieners is available from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace now.

  • more worthless crap...
  • Is the DLC for this game really that bad? I knew it wasn't supposed to be a serious game. So, I actually liked playing it.
  • yeah and another worthless trailer from them. they need to spend some time on either something more substantial like mission packs or a new game. To think i was actually excited when the president or whoever teased content for a year after games release. Damn i was gullible.
  • @2 not really bad just very short & not worth what their charging for it imo.
  • Lame! Would be interested in hearing more about the Dominatrix expansion tho.
  • I do not see the difference between these DLCs, costumes packs for fighting games and map packs for shooters (except achievements)
  • Thanks 4, I've been hoping that they have a DoTW on the DLC/season pass like LA Noire did.
  • Great more stuff that should have been free. All of these small packs are on the disc and where completed before the game was finished. That means they were removed just so they could be sold at a later date. SR2 for life while SRTT needs to just die.
  • The dlc's have all been good, a little steep in price but and short but one in particular stands out and is awesome!! The Johnny gat clone dlc was by far the best with the super powers. Definitely get that one otherwise wait for a sale and pick them all up.
  • I didn't mind the 3 DLC packs, a bit short but quite fun, just wish they'd release stuff that is better than this.
  • How about just putting this in the game when they first released it?............oh of course they would rather rip us off by splitting the game up into separate pieces . God i hate DLC , it's such a rip off. If you bought a game at it's full price , around £45-£50 , and all the DLC you get at the end of it , it's going to cost about £100 by the end. Games companies don't care about us fans at all.
  • Wow who actually burns money on cack like this.
  • Why, THQ, why?
  • I 100%'d Saint's Row III last night including the 3 DLC mission packs. It BLOWS my mind that all of this fun cool stuff isn't included with the Season Pass. They must be out of their minds not including it.
  • @2 these ones are, all these costume packs etc should have been in the game to begin with but the story ones while short are a lot of fun
  • Reason #42 THQ is failing - worthless DLC
  • maybe if it came with something to earn, either achievements or some sort of mission. otherwise this would get bland after an hour. .. ever since the campaign related dlc stopped coming i have havent played this game. althought i had plenty of fun and lots of hours invested into it..
  • @7 - The sad part is, they DO have a "Season Pass", but guess what, it only includes the three very short "mission packs"! But yet they continue to shovel out "costume packs" for $3 a pop that even Season Pass holders still have to purchase if they want them.
  • Did x360a get sponsored by THQ for an entire article on this worthless overpriced garbage? Why even waste time on a sinking ship..
  • Yes, keep it up THQ. Soon you will be selling off licenses for all of the games that once made you the tip of the iceberg.
  • I'll stick to my Albert Wesker outfit...
  • I like how this isn't included in the season pass. Another reason to make money. they need a replay mission update and stop with this DLC crap.
  • Another example of how not to do DLC
  • I just think more of these people need jobs or better paying jobs if ur complaining about 3$. Its something u get to keep forever as opposed to a 5$ footlong. Companies need to make money somehow, thq was on the verge of bankruptcy and this franchise saved it,so what if there trying to squeeze as much out of it as possible, im willing to pay the 3$ to keep thq in business so I can possibly see a sr4 one day. The rest can kindly go sit on the end of a broomstick.
  • @24 thats just a stupid attitude to have, price doesnt matter if somethings not worth buying you shouldnt pay for it, THQ are obviously milking this and hat theyre doing it with is rubbish that really should be in the game in the first place. if a company really wants to make money they need to release products that are worth their asking price not release a bunch of crap that isnt worth anything and expect people t buy it. This says nothing about our incomes or anything, i have enough money to buy it but its not worth that money s ill buy something else.
  • i dont get why they didnt wait to release this for free on halloween so people would maybe be reminded of the game and start playing it again...
  • That's on u than. I'd gladly pay 3$ to fly around on a broomstick in one of my favorite games. And how do u know they had this planned as if ur getting ripped off cuz they didnt add it on release. U think they made this dlc that long ago? Even so id still pay
  • You people seem to be confused as to how businesses work. Their primary motivation is to make money, not to please each and every one of you individually. Of course they're going to try to make as much money as you. Either suck it up and buy the DLC or voice your dissatisfaction by not buying it. Whining about it one the Internet is going to change nothing, and just makes you look like a spoiled child.
  • EDIT: as much money as they can*
  • @28: Whining on the internet is going to give them stuff to read so they can see WHY this shit isn't selling. Telling people not to complain about things they don't like just makes you look like a spoiled child.
  • @28 well first yes business works by making as much money as possible but pissing off your customers isnt the way to make more money. Flooding your market with crap and hoping people buy it isnt a good business modal at all, if they spent the time they have making these cheezy costume packs making a decent product to sell them rather than complaining people would be buying it. Quality is always better than quantity and THQ are certainly the last business id be looking at for tips considering the state their in. companies like bethesda have the right idea, instead of adding rubbish costumes and little pieces that dont matter they are spending a longer time making a worthwhile product and you only need to compare the responce on their news articles here to these ones to see the difference it makes rather than your entire customer base (minus a few ihazzz more moneys than you people)complaining about it they have a lot of people cant wait to pay more money than most dlc costs to buy it. @27 its not about when they make it things like this should always be in the game to begin with or not at all and in the other saints row games they would have been infact theres been a few of them that were in the older games or even worse that were in this game as part of missions.
  • I wonder how these things sell, someone must be buying all these costume packs and minor add-ons for them to keep making them half a year after the game has been released eh? I loved the game and all the DLC missions but I personally have no desire to sell out a few bucks for these small additions when i've already 1300/1300 the game, but to each his own.
  • Game is overall good except for the stupid jumps in levels for infinite ammo n crap ;/
  • Why do developer's continue to disappoint us with DLC like this?
  • @32 yeah they must get enough to keep selling it but im sure everyone here would pay for a decent expansion pack with a good fe hours game play.. i know id spend a couple of thousand points on one for this if i knew i was getting my moneys worth say they made a large game play expansion for 1600 points with 250gs worth of achievements, for every sale it would take 7 of these selling to make up the difference and with the fact so many more people would buy that than these stupid things this just cant be good for business
  • @Whoever is saying the dlc is short and suckish here is some news: They Are Making A New DLC Called Enter The Dominatrix. The pack is actually real, not a joke, and it will be $30, not some cheap $3 costumes and vehicles. This is going to be like the 3 season pass Dlc time limit doubled, so about meh 16 hours long I hope.
  • enter the dominatrix is a stand alone expansion not DLC and $30 is the same as a budget retail title and a good thing is in no way an excuse for a load of shit before it
  • GTA!
  • Pass on this DLC, but then, I passed on this game as well.
  • Well...at least they won the best DLC name ever award.
  • People are complaining like this has achievements or something... It's 100% OPTIONAL. Who cares if it was cut off the disc, DLC is the future and I'm not trolling at all. We need to start getting use to this movement, it extends the life of the game and stores like Gamestop are dominating with Pre-Owned games. People expect quality pass quality pass quality games but when it comes to shelling $3 for something OPTIONAL, they still find a reason to complain. Go run a game developing/publishing company and tell me this goes. In business we tend to avoid these type of markets, for the same reason, the customers.
  • @41 Are you fucking kidding me? You're scum. Go kill yourself.
  • @30. It's cute that you think companies actually pay attention to feedback from random online message boards.
  • @ RDrules: If you want to play hero, have something worthy of a response lined up instead of plastering your bigotry all over the place for us to secretly laugh at. You have no idea how ignorant you sound, as you would surely have stopped bumping you gums 5 posts back. If someone want to pay for something that makes them happy, who the fuck are you to try and convince them elsewise? Lol, idiot.
  • @43 Hm? Haven't you heard? They actually do. It's part of something called "creative marketing" EA spends oodles on it.
  • The moment GTAV is released will be the day of Saints Rows funeral.
  • Probably buying this, I bought everything else for this game anyways. Wish it could cost a little less or for free though. I'm almost done with the game so it's getting to the point where I want the new expansion to come out now.
  • @44 i put out a reasoned argument with evidence to back it up and have some Knowledge of this where you just come on to insult me funny really because you acting like that obviously means i hit a sore spot with you rather than as you say being ignorant
  • More story dlc please!
  • RRrules: I have no sore spots slick, I just find it funny when stupid people try to sound smart, is all. That's not an insult though, it just is. We done here?
  • i was gong to write a concise reply but i just remembered where i saw your user name before:P so not worth it
  • Lol, alright man. If you want to argue though, about anything.. =[]
  • Thank goodness no more achievement based DLC, I'm done with it already
  • Hoe can people bitch about this being on disc content when the article says it's over 100 mbs? Personally, I don't want the dlc...to each his own. If someone wants to buy it, go for it. When they make something kickass again like the shark bite pack I'll jump on board. If you don't like this stuff, don't buy it. Quit complaining.
  • i love it i just bourght it
  • @54 considering all the other little DLCs they've sold are on the disc (you can download a saved game with all the DLC completely functional for Christ's sake!) it is safe to assume that 120mb of space is just garbage code to make it seem like there is more than a simple unlock code.
  • Broomstick's hilarious, but the dlc is otherwise worthless. now an update that lets you turn on the super powers from "Trouble With Clones" into normal play would get me playing again. :3
