Atlus has released no less than six new vids showing off the moves of a selection of its character roster.

Below you’ll find separate vids for Chie, Yu, Naoto, Yosuke, Kanji and Yukiko, featuring the players’ specials and the inputs you’ll need to pull them off. Plus, you’ll also see plenty of the game in action. It looks niiiiice.

Persona 4 Arena, the 2D fighting game spin off from the revered JRPG series Persona, is out in August this year.

Can't wait for this game, Arc System Works make the most beautifully animated 2D fighters.

Why does Naoto have to look so much like the MC from P3? I haven't played P4 so I got really excited when I saw the picture ):

And the most ignorant statement of the day goes to.... Action Frampton!!!! Congrats on not knowing what the hell you are talking about! P4A looks to be one of the best anime fighters in a long time. For those ignorant of fighting games I'm not referring to games like Naruto, DBZ and Bleach when I say anime fighters. Those other games are just medicore half assed gimmick games disguised as fighters with anime charcters thrown in and catered to children. P4A has an anime art style and has air dashes, burst/breakers, fast gameplay and flashy combos which are staple parts of these types of fighters. The key part as to why this game looks great is first that Arc Systems(creator of BlazBlue and Guilt Gear) are making it and the character balance, variety, speed, skill and entry level seem much better than BB. Obviously those turned off by anime in general will not give this a chance but anyone who likes real fighting games will love this. The persona adds a unique mechanic most similar to that of an assist from Marvel vs Capcom, except it's a part of you and has two out of the four buttons designated to it's attacks.
