Packing three maps from the intense closing chapters of Max Payne 3's single-player story, Rockstar has today announced that the first DLC pack called 'Local Justice' will be heading to consoles early next month, as part of the Rockstar Pass or for purchase on its own.

The Local Justice DLC includes the three aformentioned maps alongside new weapons and items including new perks. Here's the bulletpoint rundown of what the pack includes:

  • 55th Battalion HQ map for all game modes
  • Imperial Palace and Departure Lounge maps for Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Payne Killer
  • Light Fingers Item for faster looting
  • M4 Assault Rifle with attachments
  • São Paulo Police Faction with related avatar customisation options

As the Local Justice pack was supposed to release in June, Rockstar will now be releasing it at a discounted price of 480 Microsoft Points for the first week starting from July 3rd. After that first week on sale, it'll return to the regular price of 640 Microsoft Points.

You can also get the DLC as part of the Rockstar Pass, which is still available for 2400 Microsoft Points. As part of the pass, you'll be able to get the Disorganized Crime Map Pack, Deathmatch Made in Heaven mode, Hostage Negotiation Map Pack and New York Minute co-op pack in summer 2012 and the Painful Memories and Trickle Down Economics Map Packs in fall 2012.

Finally, Rockstar is also making the following pre-order DLC available for everyone from July 3rd. It too will be free with a Rockstar Pass:
  • Cemetery Map:  160 MSP
  • Silent Killer Loadout Pack:  160 MSP
  • Pill Bottle Item:  80 MSP
  • Deadly Force Burst:  80 MSP
  • Classic Max Payne Character:  80 MSP
