Dead Island is a fun game. Would be a great game, were it not for the many, many glitches, and game breaking bugs (30+hr save log corrupt)Monday, July 02, 2012 @ 05:58 AM

"the disappointing Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier." You're joking, right? Nice "personal" opinion, there, Mr. Unbiased Journalist. This is why x360a will never be more than a social nerd hub. I bet you haven't even completed GRFS, have you, Lee? The story, a few hours into co-op/multiplayer? If not, then stfu. I'm tired of you idiots low-balling perfectly fine games. It's these same unrealistic views that saw Sniper Elite V2 get better reviews than GRFS from some sources, even though it didn't have nearly as much bang for the buck. I'd like to know what oils your mental gears as you write this jibberish. Your only saving grace of legitimacy is your Dragon's Dogma review.Monday, July 02, 2012 @ 08:15 AM
Didn't no reviews on the planet give DI a GotY review? Maybe the publishers, janitors son gave the review.Monday, July 02, 2012 @ 08:15 AM
"Still, at least it gives us time to finish up with Spec Ops: The Line. Turns out it’s rather blummin’ good." And I just noticed that. Ffs, I swear I'm about to go mental reading this. While I haven't played Spec Ops yet, I have played GRFS and love it. And the Metascore for GRFS is 79. 76 for your "blummin' good" Spec Ops. Disappointment? Gtfo. -butthurting over-Monday, July 02, 2012 @ 08:21 AM
@23 , 25 Disappointing Adjective: Failing to fulfill someone's hopes or expectations. Also I like your comment : This is why x360a will never be more than a social nerd hub. with 419 forum posts. Enjoy your day.Monday, July 02, 2012 @ 08:25 AM
I know it bothers you. lolMonday, July 02, 2012 @ 08:25 AM
I thought GRFS was disappointing, I don't think it's a bad game by any means, I just think the Advanced Warfighters were better, hence Future Soldier disappointing.Monday, July 02, 2012 @ 08:54 AM
Future Soldier was another unremarkable military 3PS whose only innovative feature was the gun customization, which was still just alright.Monday, July 02, 2012 @ 09:20 AM
I don't see my summers as nothing to play. I see it as a chance to catch up.Monday, July 02, 2012 @ 09:38 AM
Roll on resi 6 bladsMonday, July 02, 2012 @ 10:59 AM
Actually "Test Drive Ferrari" and "Let's Dance" comes out this week, even though I don't think anyone really cares for them.Monday, July 02, 2012 @ 12:51 PM
@26 The fact you have over 130K doesn't exactly support the case that you aren't a nerd. Hell, I can't even remember where all my posts came from. Probably the PSU forums or something.Monday, July 02, 2012 @ 02:40 PM
@33, read #26's post again, slowly, take a moment to realise what he's talking about, maybe check out the previous posts he's referring to, and then (and only then) post a comment about it.Monday, July 02, 2012 @ 03:55 PM
@34 I think #33 was somply implying that we're all nerds. I wasn't singling out anyone imparticular, as I myself am one of those nerds. My point was taken out of context on that and that's that the opinions of these so-called "reviewers" are pointless. I was starting to trust x360a for my news/reviews, but it's gotten 'way' too opinionated as of late. Just those little comments are enough to spark my ire. He chose to be a staff member here and he should carry that branding with some dignity and keep his opinions out of his "news" articles and instead take them to the forums, like everybody else.Monday, July 02, 2012 @ 06:07 PM
Anarchy Reigns...
Monday, July 02, 2012
The summer drought hits particularly hard this week. If my bleary Monday morning eyes (and the EB Games and GameStop websites) are to be believed then neither Australia nor North America can expect anything new in their local video game store over the next seven days. Not a sausage.
Europe, meanwhile, sees only the amusingly titled Dead Island Game of the Year Edition, while Asia gets Max Anarchy (Anarchy Reigns over here, when it eventually comes out), a re-issue of Earth Defense Force Insect Armageddon and the disappointing Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.
Still, at least it gives us time to finish up with Spec Ops: The Line. Turns out it’s rather blummin’ good.
