LOL this is where i bought elite for ...... Wasted money :PWednesday, July 04, 2012 @ 04:06 AM
This map will probably work better than it did in mw2 as tubes ain't flying everywhere. Hopefully it's free for everyone.Wednesday, July 04, 2012 @ 04:08 AM
This games gonna ruin all my fond memories of playing it in MW2Wednesday, July 04, 2012 @ 04:09 AM
finally a good map for onceWednesday, July 04, 2012 @ 04:16 AM
@3 learn to read,in the news it say´s that it´s free for everyone @news yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay my favourite map :DWednesday, July 04, 2012 @ 04:24 AM
@7 I don't think you can massacre a single person can you? Its a shame COD is associated with people on your level. Ot: Free eh!? What next? Capcom giving out free DLC? Nah.Wednesday, July 04, 2012 @ 04:50 AM
this is great news , terminal has to be one of the best cod maps ever,but,id rather have the nade fest that was shipment,that would be awsome.Wednesday, July 04, 2012 @ 04:53 AM
EXCELLENT NEWS! Just one thing: I seriously hope this isn't just for "Face-off". -__-Wednesday, July 04, 2012 @ 05:10 AM
... what's the catch Activision? My soul?Wednesday, July 04, 2012 @ 05:20 AM
Chances are they barely had to do a single thing porting the map. MW3 probably handles map data in exactly the same way as MW2.Wednesday, July 04, 2012 @ 05:36 AM
I consider this a good start. maybe if we hit the point were most of the MW2/Blops maps can be played on MW3 I'll finally stop regretting my Elite subscription...Wednesday, July 04, 2012 @ 05:46 AM
Mabey try bringing out new maps instead of rinse and repeat!Wednesday, July 04, 2012 @ 05:52 AM
@11 nahh.. They're will probably be some hidden contract stating "if you do not buy the next call of duty game, we will need to and now have the right to take your first born" =D Ahh well loved this map ! And free? Awesome! Maybe they've realise doing "collections" is pointless and is earning them fuck all!Wednesday, July 04, 2012 @ 06:07 AM
Some muppets on this website, it's FREE TO EVERYBODY!!!! OT: this map will get played to death when it ships :)Wednesday, July 04, 2012 @ 06:43 AM
@12 They said it takes two weeks of coding to import the map, but testing afterwards. Not to mention certain parts have been re-textured.Wednesday, July 04, 2012 @ 07:54 AM
'expected to be free for everyone'..... fucking assholes, it's YOU that needs to learn to readWednesday, July 04, 2012 @ 09:44 AM
That's great, but I still want a Favela map on MW3. That was my favorite map on MW2. Backlot was my favorite from CoD4.Wednesday, July 04, 2012 @ 10:48 AM
wow....one of my all time favorite maps in MW2.Wednesday, July 04, 2012 @ 11:09 AM
this was one of the worst maps in MW2Wednesday, July 04, 2012 @ 11:27 AM
@21 I agree. I always felt like I was the only person who hated this map.Wednesday, July 04, 2012 @ 12:01 PM
i can't wait to see twice as many campers with strikers/dual FMG noobs and portable radars on this mapWednesday, July 04, 2012 @ 01:51 PM
I knew it, they fucked up and spilled the beans again. I was playing a few nights ago (and a friend could testify to this because I passed leader to make sure he was seeing the same thing), and when one friend joined, a red message came up that said something to the effect of "Terminal not available because xyz doesn't have the map pack." A few days later, that message read as "&&2 not available because xyz doesn't have the map pack." But, they already ruined it, so I knew that meant Terminal. Good. Now bring back every other map from Modern and Modern 2 and we're good. You owe us for piece of shit maps like Foundation.Wednesday, July 04, 2012 @ 02:01 PM
infinity ward just says to hell with creativity and originality huh? how are they still in business??? oh ya, cuz there will always be dumb CoD fans who buy whatever they spew out.Wednesday, July 04, 2012 @ 02:45 PM
it shouldnt only be terminal they should release other maps tooWednesday, July 04, 2012 @ 02:48 PM
Elite users predictably getting screwed. Good job.Wednesday, July 04, 2012 @ 04:13 PM
Yeeeeessssss!!! Today I got the two content collection for half off and now I hear about this! COD EliTe SuBScIB3rz xXXXxXxxxxX get screwed!Wednesday, July 04, 2012 @ 04:21 PM
@17 That two weeks of coding probably amounts to one junior programmer chucking in new spawn points, tweaking collision and then sending it over to the art team so they can chuck some pre-existing MW3 textures on it. By two weeks of coding they mean a five hours.Wednesday, July 04, 2012 @ 04:21 PM
nice! i loved this map, good thing i dint get eliteThursday, July 05, 2012 @ 01:50 AM
if it's free, not gonna complain. but if it wasn't like i thought it was going to be then that would have been rediculous. if want to play MW2 maps, we'll play MW2Thursday, July 05, 2012 @ 06:53 PM
@2 This isn't part of Elite's content drop, this is a separate map that is free.Thursday, July 05, 2012 @ 11:36 PM
There's somebody in the gift shop!Friday, July 06, 2012 @ 11:23 AM
I still miss Shipment ( i think it was, tiny map made of shipping crates ), on MW 1 when the PC version allowed 50-man FFA... good times. I think MW3 needs a "Rust" type level: tiny, lost of fast kills and good fun

Infinity Ward has confirmed the return of the Terminal multiplayer map for Modern Warfare 3.
The Modern Warfare 2 map appeared as an option in the PS3 version of the game last month, but quickly disappeared.
According to executive producer Mark Rubin, Terminal is “coming soon” with a release date to be announced very soon.
Responding to enquiries on Twitter, Rubin said, “Yup. Terminal coming soon,” before adding, “I'm going to be announcing the date for Terminal this week.”
The map is expected to be free of charge to all users, Elite and non-Elite, and as usual it will launch around a month earlier on Xbox 360. “We have to maintain the 30 day difference,” said Rubin.
