Forza Horizon is racing into stores later this year, and as is the trend for practically every high profile release these days, Turn 10 and Playground Games' racer is set to get the Limited Collector's Edition treatment, with some pre-order incentives to consider too.

If you're in the market to pre-order Forza Horizon, there's two options to choose from. First of all, you can pre-order the standard version of the game with a stylish pink, blue and white decal-sporting Horizon-themed 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392, as well as a code to unlock one of the four cars below:

  • 2012 Aston Martin Virage
  • 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG
  • 2010 Ferrari 458 Italia
  • 2010 Nissan 370Z

Alternatively, you can pre-order and get the Forza Horizon Limited Collector's Edition, which comes packaged in a unique steelbook with a Horizon Festival Ticket that grants access to VIP content such as a five-car add-on pack, the contents of which have yet to be unveiled. Check out the Forza Horizon Limited Collector's Edition and Horizon Dodge Challenger in the images.

Forza Horizon is out on October 23rd, 2012 in North America and October 26th in Europe. These pre-order bonuses appear to be currently for North America only, although we suspect they'll be wheeled out around the world. Hopefully. You can check out our Forza Horizon hands-on preview here.

They still haven't convinced me to buy their 4th game yet, I'll pass on this.

Re: #1

I intent on buying both at some point. Do like a bit of NFS, especially now that Criterion have the reins, but Forza is amazing.

On that note, do still need to pick up Forza 4 at some point...

I wish every single xbox 360 game had an artistic metal case like this. Even the crappy games. Our collection would look bad ass instead of all the lime green cases and simple artwork.

See this is why pre order bonuses are lame.

GAME are now going to miss out on my business, normally I would go with them but they have some crappy Mercedes.

But being an Aston Martin fan I'm now obviously going to go with amazon who I don't even like buying games from.

Forza and NFS are two different types of racing games. Unless you're comparing the simulation NFS games then yes.... they are crappy. Hot Pursuit and Most Wanted were awesome though, and Horizon looks to be taking a page out of NFS's book.

Just my opinion; They should forget about this game. and put all their effort into making a Forza 5 that can live up to Forza 3, Forza 4 was a bit of a let down, it was a good game. Just not good enough.

I'll get the game, but not the CE.
Not that I'm not grateful, I just always wind up using the 1985 Toyota Corolla (when available). xD

@1 Why? I like arcade racers better than racing sims. I personally find Forza pretty boring, especially when it comes to long races.

I'll get Forza anyways, but I think NFS is infinitely better.

@11 totally with you. Simulation racers are just a big bore to me. Criterion is well deserving of holding the reins of the nfs but really need to make a new burnout as its just one of my favourite racing series of all time.

This looks like the first forza il look into getting. If they can pull of their simulation racer with an arcade vibe then im sold!

@19 it's an open world racer set in Colorado with no race tracks. Do your homework mate
