Overpriced crapFriday, July 13, 2012 @ 05:27 AM
Sweet. Honestly, I loved every Spec Ops mission so far. I really don't care for the multiplayer maps though. Just like every other map, once you play it a few times, it's the same thing every time. Doesn't add anything new to the game. I would love to have weapon DLC.Friday, July 13, 2012 @ 05:33 AM
What about Arctic Recon?Friday, July 13, 2012 @ 05:44 AM
if they released all the spec ops missions in one pack i would buy it but i don't care about multiplayer anymoreFriday, July 13, 2012 @ 05:47 AM
Barely play the game nowadays but since I'm an ELITE subber anyway what's the harm.Friday, July 13, 2012 @ 05:50 AM
I still play it online on the new maps but the spec ops stuff is really lame.Friday, July 13, 2012 @ 06:00 AM
Probably be DotW in a month just to rub a bit more salt into the wounds of Elite subscribers.Friday, July 13, 2012 @ 07:01 AM
More maps for a game I honestly still enjoy playing online. I can't grumble at that.Friday, July 13, 2012 @ 07:53 AM
I haven't played the multiplayer in ages but the spec ops missions are good for a little bit. More achievements are always welcomeFriday, July 13, 2012 @ 07:54 AM
Not that interested in MP maps, not a huge fan of any that have come out so far apart from Lookout and Getaway for Face off, but I've enjoyed all Spec Ops missions so far so can't wait. Terminal should be great as well.Friday, July 13, 2012 @ 08:33 AM
@1 It really can't be generalised as that when one of the maps is completely free to everyone.Friday, July 13, 2012 @ 08:58 AM
@3 what about it?? Came out last month for elite subscribers?Friday, July 13, 2012 @ 09:17 AM
They should be more bothered about fixing spawns, lag reduction, hitboxes and weapon rebalances before releasing more stuff - but then that would mean more work without additional income from DLC sales. I only enjoy this game now for online private matches with a big group of friends. I rarely trade in games, but MW3 is definitely getting there to be one of the first to which i do because it is practically broken with little motivation in fixing it.Friday, July 13, 2012 @ 09:41 AM
Call of duty blows like it works on a cornerFriday, July 13, 2012 @ 10:07 AM
@12 does anyone know when will Artic Recon is available for non-Elite members?Friday, July 13, 2012 @ 10:34 AM
@15 I would assume it will come out in the next collection (this DLC and Last) which I read somewhere is due Mid-End August but don't quote me on it :)Friday, July 13, 2012 @ 11:06 AM
3 new mp maps is just what we need :) can't waitFriday, July 13, 2012 @ 11:08 AM
Haven't seriously gone back to this since I got the 1k. How hard is it to get the achievements from the Spec Ops maps released through Elite? Any harder/easier than the ones included on disc?Friday, July 13, 2012 @ 11:18 AM
@18 I just recently purchased the first two collection packs last week (2 for 1 deal) and completed all achievements within the first few days (my wedding got in the way haha). They're on the same difficulty level as the ones included on the disc. I enjoyed Kill Switch and Negotiator the most.Friday, July 13, 2012 @ 11:21 AM
Four-player survival and combat training! No more shitty maps please.Friday, July 13, 2012 @ 01:03 PM
It should be worded "18th July" and not "July 18th". Butchered English..Friday, July 13, 2012 @ 01:16 PM
No... either 18 July or July 18th work just fine. In American English, anyway.Friday, July 13, 2012 @ 05:12 PM
@18 - They aren't that hard. Quick play through on easy to get the extra achievement and to get a feel for the mission and then a play through on Veteran. I'm patiently waiting for the next content drop to get those achievements.Friday, July 13, 2012 @ 06:02 PM
I'm still waiting on Arctic Recon to become available for me....Friday, July 13, 2012 @ 07:19 PM
@21 You mad? I wonder how high the gamerscore is going to get up to. They are putting out content until December so maybe it will get to 2000!Saturday, July 14, 2012 @ 10:00 AM
Wait... people still play this game?Monday, July 30, 2012 @ 02:13 PM
This was the hardest spec ops so far.

There's more Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 content on the way next week, as the Elite content drops ready up for more multiplayer maps and Spec Ops missions. There's also the free Terminal map from Modern Warfare 2, which will be arriving on July 17th for Elite Premium members and on July 18th for everyone else.
There'll be four exclusive content drops arriving next week, with three multiplayer maps coming in the shape of a graveyard of decaying ocean liners in 'Decommission', an oil rig in the middle of the ocean with handy sniper perches in 'Offshore' and a Spec Ops Mission called 'Vertigo' where you'll need to take down helicopters and a range of enemies from a vantage point on the Oasis hotel's rooftop.
These maps will be coming as part of the July Call of Duty: Elite drop, which along with the free Terminal map, will be arriving on July 17th for Elite subscribers. Keep your eyes peeled and stay frosty for 'em.
