There's more free content for Mass Effect 3's multiplayer available from the Xbox Live Marketplace right now, with the Mass Effect 3: Earth pack up for grabs. The DLC adds three new maps, three new weapons, six new characters, a bunch of upgrades and the new rock-solid Platinum difficulty.

As the name of the pack suggests, you'll be taking the fight to Earth with the London, Vancouver and Rio De Janeiro Firebase maps, and six new human elite Aliiance N7 classes. There's the N7 Demolisher Engineer, N7 Destroyer Soldier, N7 Fury Adept, N7 Sentinel Paladin, N7 Shadow Infiltrator and N7 Slayer Vanguard, all packing their own set of skills and biotic abilities.

Rounding out the pack is 12 new weapon mods and 11 equipment upgrades, as well as three new weapons. They are the N7 Piranha Shotgun, N7 Typhoon Assault Rifle and Acolyte Pistol. You can also expect to run into a new objective during waves 3, 6 and 10 of a multiplayer mission, tasking your team with escorting and protecting a valuable targeted agent to the safety of a designated extraction zone.

You can grab the Mass Effect 3: Earth multiplayer pack for free from Xbox Live now, and dive back into the game's Galaxy at War mode. You can add Mass Effect 3: Earth to your download queue here.

Haven't played the MP in a while. Good reason to get back onto it and play my home capital, London!

Whoever chose Udina for the council over Anderson in the first Mass Effect has no soul.

@3 If you dislike it so much, go troll on a Call of Duty article. I actually really enjoyed playing the dlc! I feel as though the characters are super unbalanced though. I unlocked the Shadow, and you are basically a Phantom. Its awesome but I felt really bad playing online with her. Great Dlc, and even better, its free!

@10, don't mind #3. Any time there is a news article posted about Mass Effect 3 his asshole starts to tingle and he comes in here and talks shit. He likely only does it because he is horrible at the MP.

Don't forget guys, if you've maxed out all your classes (Lvl 20) you will now get special ammo cards instead of Character Training. :)

Also, the Typhoon rocks. @_@

I just wish we actually got some of these classes when we get the DLC. I'm tired of having to play the same old stuff for hours just to save up enough for a pack, and get an old weapon or original character. Kinda frustrating. Wish for some of these you could just buy a character without having to rely on the luck of the draw in these packs.

#8 Take a look at the actual characters they are all very fun.

I'm liking the maps in this pack as well this might be my favourite of the three add-ons, played around with each character they are amazing... I love Shadow Strike, the ammo pylon, the Adept's powers are amazing.. it's just all so good.

I'll get this just because I have a lot of room on my HD, but I can't see myself jumping into it right away. I just woke up from my last boring MP-induced coma, I can't bare the thought of another one so soon. I've lot so much respect for Bioware after this game's release. I thought the long push back in its release was to also help polish the game off, the more I play the more small glitches I find (characters disappearing during conversations, heads not facing the direction of the person directly in the conversation). This MP move was such a bad idea...oh shit I think my coma is coming back...

I need to get back into the MP in this game, I don't think I've played any of the MP DLC packs since the excellent Geth one (and my god, I love the GETH in this game).

The maps are decent and the characters look badass, but Platinum difficulty is going to be insane. Wave 1 with reapers I had 3 banshees and 6 brutes sent a me O_o

I'm happy to see them release free MP DLC, but I really don't care all that much about playing that mode anymore.

Note to developers, please follow Bioware on their free MP DLC idea cause I'm guessing that they make bank on idiots who buy weapon packs for 2 bucks a pop.
