Please Your Ears and Your Eyes With This New Pid Vid

Here’s a new video for the upcoming, inventive platformer, Pid.

Concentrating largely on the creation of Pid’s soundtrack, the vid also shows a bunch of footage from the game itself, as well as the game's prototype and some concept art. If you’ve even got a passing interest in the title, which you should, it’s definitely worth checking out.

Created by veterans from the studio that created Bionic Commando: Rearmed, Pid sees the main protagonist attempting to escape a remote island via a cool little gravity manipulation mechanic.

It's out later this year. You can find the trailer below.

Look alright that , reminds me of lucidity. Wish the screen would stop fading out though , that's really annoying for a trailer.

Looks to be an interesting concept. The music they'e making is ass, though. And listening to them drone on about it is pretty boring.

If it's been made by BC:R veterans then is it really "indie"?

#4: Depends who's publishing it and the size of their wallets.
BC:R was published by Capcom, a familiar name. Pid is published by D3 publishing, who I had to look up, but have a history of small puzzle titles on the 360 (Bangai-O, Puzzle Quest), amongst a plethora of titles published in Japan.

Err, either way I don't see how it matters if a game has a proper 'indie' pedigree or not. It's pedantic at best and ultimately your money has to go to someone.
