Next week sees another three singles coming to Rock Band, with Foster the People lending two tracks from their debut studio album, 'Torches'.

These two songs are joined by a singular track from New York outfit The Strokes. There's one new track from the band's fourth studio album, 'Angles' with an optional Pro Guitar/Pro Bass upgrade.

Check out the tunes on offer:

Single Tracks - 160 Microsoft Points each. X = 80 Microsoft Points per track for a Pro Guitar/Pro Bass upgrade O= support for keyboards

  • Foster the People – “Helena Beat” O
  • Foster the People – “Don’t Stop (Color on the Walls)” O
  • The Strokes – “Under Cover of Darkness” X

(All tracks are original master recordings)

Look out for them on the Xbox Live Marketplace from July 24th.

@ 2

They probably had it, but sometimes things just want to disappear. I agree that it's a travesty that Houdini didn't make it.

@6 It's probably the same guy every time, too.

@5 Yeah! How dare people like games that you don't! Why would people pay money to expand a game they enjoy! Blasphemy!

@8, It is the same guy every week. Probably just mad GH got canned.

OT: Wish they had of a added a third song, and made it a pack instead of charging full price, but will check them out at some point.

@10 it is a fun game. Instead of complaining every week, why not try it? I understand your annoyance, but complaining won't fix it. You can easily search for games via first title letter.

On-topic: Might pick up the Strokes. Not into FTP enough to get DLC (excluding RBB).

@10 And you feel that complaining here, in the comments section, is an effective way to get that changed? Why not, instead of irritating people by posting the same thing every week, talk to Microsoft about it? Unless impotent rage is more your style...

If I recall, BlQQDCQRE was saying something equally as stupid on another recent news post, so best to just ignore him.
OT: Love some Foster the People :P
Somewhat surprised they didn't include 'Pumped up kicks', but I suppose that would be rather easy to play. Also, you've got to admit, in light of recent events, that song might have seemed inappropriate for release at this point in time :/

Why should I have to search Letter by letter to avoid this stupid game? It would take very long going though a-z to 'SEE IF THERE IS NEW' content to download. When I can go to the 'WHATS NEW' tab. If I don't check on the internet what is coming out I rely on 'WHATS NEW' tab. Every week I see this stupid game flood DLC marketplace. There are tons of people who can't stand this. We need to make a stand and stop this crap.

@14 I never said you had to. Merely suggested that you check under the letters of games you own. If you want to look under what's new, then you have to realize that the RBN stuff that comes out is also new. Can help it, it's marketing.

Great. Take a stand. Somewhere where it actually matters. Not many people who like the game like the DLC flood either. Take it up with Microsoft, who designed the stupid system, and understand that Harmonix and the fans have zero control over the problem.

That being said, Love Shack last week was nice, but this isn't my music. At all.

@14 if there is "tons of people" that are inconvenienced by RB DLC then you guys should e-mail Microsoft instead of spamming the comments section of unaffiliated news sites.

On topic: I'm getting those FtP tracks. I hate Pumped Up Kicks but their other songs are pretty good.

I have an idea, when you announce the new RB tracks, why don't you provide links to their YouTube videos? I just think it would be a cool little feature to add ;) & plus, it would serve as a reminder for those who have forgotten the song, or just haven't heard it. & yes, I know, you can just search it yourself, but then I just think it would make you guys at X360A.org much more awesome & respected, at least for me anyway.

Actually, NCAA 2013 has polluted the DLC list more than Rock Band lately. With all their paid cheat codes. Although I do recall a week where 48 out of 50 listed items was Rock Band DLC.

Wow! How did I guess when I clicked on this article that blqqdcqre would be having his weekly cry about rock band tracks getting in the way of his dlc browsing. I admit I think they should have a separate tab for them, but they don't! Stop crying like a little b#$!h and get on with it, you lose the time it takes to bypass this stuff by complaining about it!

@14 maybe if instead of reading the RB articles on here every week you should read the article they put up every week telling what's new on the marketplace. Then you won't have to bother with your tab at all.

@27 that's a nice idea
also i'm pretty sure this is not the first time i've said it but, you do not need to go to the marketplace to search for new rock band dlc, there is literally a thing you can download for it called rock band music store which has all the dlc since day one, and you can search specific categories. so can people stop complaining about flooded marketplaces because there is a place you can look which will make your experience much more simple.

P.s if any members of this website that read the rock band articles know anybody that is a member, who also reads these articles please could you spread the word about the downloadable thing i mentioned as this will spread awareness that there is a way too make looking for songs easier.

P.s.s I amaware that the majority of you are not as bad as BLQQDCQRE but I believe that the quicker we know that you don't have to use the marketplace for the dlc the less complainers we will have to put up with. Thank you

I loved that song "Reptilia" from Rock Band 1, so I'll definitely check "Under Cover of Darkness" out.

These other two tracks are bizarre, but quite likable. The charts look decently fun too!

With all due respects, I think you're missing the point entirely.
They're annoyed because the DLC is flooding the marketplace and making finding other DLC's that AREN'T Rock band slightly harder, not because finding the Rock Band DLC is harder.

I think he misses the point every week. Also in RB3, which I think is the only one the new DLC is coming out for, has the store built in, I thought the download one was for the older games.

I do see how it could be annoying. I have a lot of DLC and get new ones all the time, but have NEVER once went to the newest DLC section to get songs. Also on RB3s main menu tells you this weeks songs.

Try starting a petition, it worked for Mass Effect 3 so who knows. If you add something in there for harmonix to make their store work, and not have such huge loading times, I'd be the first to sign ;) I hate looking for new songs when the screen takes upwards of 20-30 seconds to get to the next page.

Also on a side note, I wish they would come out with an app to let me listen to my RB DLC without playing the game. That'd be awesome.
