Rockstar Games has confirmed that the next dose of Max Payne 3 multiplayer DLC will be coming for free with the 'Disorganized Crime Pack' heading to Xbox Live for download next month, while the five remaining packs will be condensed into three larger shots of content.
The content from the 'New York Minute Co-Op Pack' and 'Trickle Down Economics Map Pack' will be spread across three separate releases, with the New York Minute Co-Op add-on now being rolled into the 'Deathmatch Made In Heaven Mode Pack', which is due to launch in October.
You'll still get a 35% saving with the Max Payne 3 Rockstar Pass, which is available for 2400 Microsoft Points. The amended Max Payne 3 DLC schedule is now as follows:
- Disorganized Crime Pack: August - FREE
- Hostage Negotiation Map Pack: September - 800 Microsoft Points
- Painful Memories Map Pack: October - 800 Microsoft Points
- Deathmatch Made In Heaven Mode Pack: October - 800 Microsoft Points
The Disorganized Crime Pack for Max Payne 3 features a new Hoboken Rooftops multiplayer map that has you battling it out above the streets surrounding Max's old apartment from the story's flashback sequences, as well as new modifiers for Score Attack in Arcade Mode. These include Explosive Rounds that mean your bullets blow up on impact, new Lone Wolf AI for more aggressive enemies and a Headshots Only modifier, whereby only a bullet between the eyes will do when killing the bad guys.
You'll be able to download the Max Payne 3 Disorganized Crime Pack for free in August.
