XCOM: Enemy Unknown Multiplayer Screens Do Battle

2K has released a bunch of screens for the rather spiffing looking turn-based strategy reboot, XCOM: Enemy Unknown.
XCOM: Enemy Unknown will feature a multiplayer mode in which you can play as a mixed team of aliens and agents, allowing you to take advantage of some of the abilities you’ll fall victim to in single player.
At the heart of the multiplayer is a points system. Beginning every match each player will be given 10,000 points with which to buy members of the team. You can recruit anyone (or thing) you want, but the trick is to build a balanced team capable of taking on your opponents.
Sounds like a great idea. XCOM: Enemy Unknown may not be very sexy, but it’s one of our most anticipated games this year. Bring it.
XCOM: Enemy Unknown is out on October 9th in North America and October 12th in Europe.
