Disney Interactive and Junction Point have revealed a new area of Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two at PAX Prime, showcasing Fort Wasteland, which is based upon the historic Frontierland area of Disneyland that originally opened in 1955.

Featuring forgotten attractions like the Mine Train Through Nature’s Wonderland and Fort Wilderness on Tom Sawyer Island, Frontierland has inspired the in-game Fort Wasteland, which will challenge Mickey Mouse and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, as they embark upon their co-op platforming adventure together.

Check out all 15 Fort Wasteland screenshots in the gallery, and watch the latest developer diary video below, which goes behind the scenes on the game's music with Creative Director, Warren Spector. For more Epic Mickey 2, watch our interview with Spector and our hands-on preview.

Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two is out on November 18th.

Nobody has ever done this in a game? Erm Conker's Bad Fur Day springs straight to mine with the "I'm the great mighty poo and I'm going to throw my shit at you"

I'm looking forward to this game, I miss platformer games a lot, and this looks promising to me.

Am I the only one who thinks it's stupid to have the sequel on Xbox 360 but not the first one? I was going to get this, but I won't ever play the sequel without ever playing the first one, and I refuse to play it on Wii.
