EA has today announced the first dose of DLC for Medal of Honor: Warfighter ahead of the game's release this October. Entitled 'Zero Dark Thirty', the add-on will tie-in with the movie of the same name, based on the hunt for Osama Bin Laden, directed by The Hurt Locker's Kathryn Bigelow. It's hoped that sales of the map pack will help generate $1 million for charities that benefit armed forces veterans in the US, through EA's Project Honor campaign.
MoH: Warfighter's Zero Dark Thirty Map Pack includes two multiplayer maps inspired by real world locations. The first is Darra Gun Market, which is a flourishing illegal arms market in a lawless region of Pakistan lorded over by a tribal leader. The second map is the remote, rugged area of Chitral, situated in the far north of Pakistan, bounded by Afghanistan to the west and China to the north.
The Zero Dark Thirty Map Pack will be available during the week of December 17th for 800 Microsoft Points with SEAL 6 weapon loadouts. Medal of Honor: Warfighter is out on October 23rd in North America and October 26th in Europe. Check out the two DLC maps in the screens below. The DLC will also be free with the Medal of Honor: Warfighter Limited Edition.
