Halo 4 Dominion Multiplayer Mode Detailed

A new multiplayer mode for Halo 4 has been detailed. Called Dominion, it’s like a tweaked version of Battlefield’s Conquest mode.
Here’s how it works. Players fight for control over three territorial points on a map. As soon as a team captures all three points the game enters “sudden death,” giving the opposing team a countdown. If they fail to reclaim ground before the game runs out, it’s all over.
To make matters even trickier, teams that hold one point for a long time will be rewarded with vehicle deploy stations, turrets and door shields, making capture points increasingly well fortified. Should a point be recaptured, the new occupants keep all the defensive and offensive goodies too, meaning that all matches are an exercise in escalating, against-the-clock madness. We like the sound of it.
Today is Halo News Day, as we’ve already reported on some spiffy new campaign screens and the latest Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn preview vid. It's all stepping up in advance of the game's release on November 6th.
Note: The vid below is for the Infinity multiplayer suite
