Splinter Cell: Blacklist Trailer Snaps More Necks

“I am Sam Fisher. I am Splinter Cell.”

Here’s the latest trailer for Splinter Cell: Blacklist, with a dramatic voiceover from that chap that isn’t Michael Ironside. Stuffed with ‘splosions, neck snapping and terrorists, it outlines the Fifth Freedom, Fisher’s new clearance level. Basically, he can do whatever he wants in service of protecting America. F**k yeah.

Trailer’s below. Splinter Cell: Blacklist is out in March, 2013.

Good thing I got here early so I can say how much I'm looking forward to this before people come in and say "It's not even Splinter Cell anymore" Geez get over yourselves.

Can you make an achievement says DON't get a single kill with weapons except BOSSES! to make it full stealth game please?

I liked the first half of the trailer and then the second part was all about action/explosions. I would much rather have this game as a stealth game, much like the originals. Plus i already miss Ironside :(

I hate to be "that guy", but the Fifth Freedom isn't new to Splinter Cell, Sam was often granted it as a Third Echelon operative in all of the previous games.

Even if it isn,t Micheal Inronside doing the voice of Sam Fisher anymore i,m still exicted about this new story of Sam. I,m not to worried about a different voice or the fact same looks younger then in conviction, as long the story is good and the gameplay i,m more then happy. I early pre-ordered this right after its been shown on the Live event at the E3 as you get that nice looking steelbook and some extra DLC. Def looking ahead to see how the new game plays like.

I like the fact, that you'll be able to carry dead/unconcious soldiers or that you can either kill or knock them out. Good combination of Stealth and Action, actually that's what I missed in Conviction but it still was a good game which I play a lot with my friend. Hope the CoOp is going to be good just like in Chaos Theory/Double Agent. I still hope that you'll be able to customize your character the way you wantor at least change the color of the NVGoogles ( Light Blue would look wicked!)But hopefully I'm looking forward for Multiplayer !!!!

@9 Carry around dead bodies and hide them isn,t new in Splinter Cell in was in there before ;) In Pandora Tomorow as an example. Conviction was a mere shadow of a Splinter Cell game and even it had stealthy sections it based more on the action segment. I found the co-op actuay more fun and alot more stealthy then most parts in the campaign where if u been carefull you could take out 4 enemies easy with your tag and kill option.

@10 Thats a good question ;) If convictions was a heads-up about what Blacklist will be i suspect stealthy sections with alot of action sections as kinda been shown at the E3 Demo. This is partly done or at least thats my geus that alot of gamers i talked to over the past years sinds Splinter Cell is out, that most didn,t like it that much mostly because they had to actualy take their time to figure out how the enemy patrol pattern was and when to make a move so they woudn,t get spotted, most complained that they had to sit an wait for 4 mins or so to figure out. Lets just say the big portion of gamers these days are more about action then taking their time, so my tought is that Ubisoft listened to most of them and start changing the Splinter Cell concept around so its more suitable for all gamers, nothing new if you look at most older game franchises like resident evil ect, its all been changed gameplay wise and turned most of them in a regular shooter game, sad realy.

@7

That's because the legendary Michael Ironside isn't voicing Sam anymore.
Sad times, we live in.

why they didn't just have you play as a new younger guy, and then had sam still voiced by ironside as the leader in a lambert type role i'll never know

Of course they are not going to have the same voice actor forever . What an unrealistic thing for you guys to expect your comments have nothing to even do with the video its all about "omg ironside is gone" While it would be nice to have him continue to voice sam you should at least give the new guy a chance and besides the game looks great . It seems like all anyone on here does is complain

Splinter Cell will never be the same again... Did you ever think what would happen if Master Chief sounded like Kratos and vice versa. I wish they just introduced new splinter cell operative and maybe snuck in Sam as support character....

@19 Or maybe they are just resting?

I'm really looking forward to this and I don't care who does the voice acting as long as it sounds appropriate.

Another great series ruined. This must be the prequel to the original Splinter Cell. That's the only way to justify the different voice and 25 year younger look. They "borrowed" some things from Assassin's Creed as well. RIP Sam, you were great once.
