All the DLC for Final Fantasy 13-2 should have been included in the game as "Unlockables" for all the different endings, they could be 95% reduced and still not be worth buying.

I agree. I had no problem getting every achievement with the bsae stuff, this seems like things that should have been included in the original game, there are no new achievements from any of it, and is still way too overpriced even when on sale.

And if you do think about buying any of it, the only one that I've read was useful was the Sazh DLC for the extra area of the casino. Snow isn't really a great addition, and Lightning is pretty useful, but still isn't a must have. And honestly I don't give a damn about learning anything prior to the next, more than likely disappointing, game. I'd be more excited if SE announced a new Just Cause.

The Lightning DLC is worth it for the story. Everything else? Eh.

Final Fantasy began to fall apart after 9. Haven't been a fan or made a Final Fantasy related purchase since.

560 total for it all? That's only ~$7 CDN, I may pick them all up for giggles anyhow even if I don't use Snow and Sazh. Definitely grabbing the Lightning DLC.

@9 I gave 10 and 10-2 a go and it was just not the same. I don't mean I wanted the games to be same, I meant the feeling I used to get playing 1 through 9 was fantastic, I was always hooked, they lost that special something when Enix took over and Soft left. You could say that from FF10 and on, the franchise is still successful in a some ways but Enix completely took the franchise in another direction, style and just changed everything that was fun about the games. It's not that I hate the games themselves, just the people who ruined my favorite and most played franchise since I was a little kid way back on NES.

Well.. tbh, after FFX the games got worse. I found the story in FFXII extremely, EXTREMELY boring.. though the gameplay was alright. In FF13 the gameplay sucks while the story is alright imo, lol. It's just way too easy... would love to see a new, more complex fighting and item system

this dlc illustrates how retarded square enix are. they brought this out after the majority of the players completed the game.....the dlc is absolutely pointless for anybody who has completed the game and got 1k GS.

piss poor game piss poor dlc. i bought lightning dlc, got the platinum trophy and never even captured lightning after killing her for over 2 not well spent at all

That's the lightning & Amodar (spelling?) DLC. Requiem of the Goddess has you fight Caius repeatedly. You get armored Lightning upon receiving a 5 star rank on both fights (it's a 2 stage boss)

Personally, I bought Requiem when it released, and had fun just because it was another reason to play the game. I never used Lightning after I obtained her (I already had 1000g), but it was a fun, small diversion which shouldn't be purchased if you didn't enjoy the game in the first place.

I don't even own the game (whenever I feel like I will buy it I remember bad reviews first one was getting and seems like you can't play this without playing first one), but it makes me laugh when you say $1-$2 DLC here is not worth the price. Even if it was locked on disk, skip lunch on one day and you will have enough to get few of those DLC's....

Why even pay for story DLC (with no achievements) if you can just watch it online for free?

I understand the DLC... but is there actual "story" per se or is it just a bunch of encounters over and over with no context?

@26: In Snow, no story. In Sazh, a little bit of story. In Lightning, a pretty important piece of story.
