Borderlands 2 DLC Details Discovered, Gearbox Battling Bug

New Borderlands 2 achievements, added alongside the game’s Mechromancer DLC, hint at upcoming content for Gearbox’s loot-stuffed shooter.
The achievements suggest that the game will receive a large, location-based chunk of DLC in the near future, set in the desert town location of Oasis. The update is thought to be called “Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty.”
One of the achievements, called Gadabout, pings when you discover “all named locations in Oasis and the surrounding Pirate’s Booty areas.”
It is also rumoured that the forthcoming expansion will contain new items and a new vendor who sells top-level gear but only accepts Seraph Crystals as payment.
Four large-scale add-ons are planned for Borderlands 2, each of which promises to feature hours of gameplay and “introduce new adventures, allies, enemies and environments."
You can either buy each of the add-ons separately for 800 MSP, or pick up a Season pass for 2400 MSP.
Meanwhile, there’s a new Borderlands 2 bug in town that seems to be resetting players’ Badass Rank and losing their Gold Keys.
The bug popped up yesterday alongside the release of the Mechromancer DLC, yet the two are unconnected. "The good news is that the release of Mechromancer and today's update are not connected to the occurrences of Badass Rank being reset," said community manager Chris Faylor on the official Gearbox forums.
"While the timing may appear coincidental, it's a separate issue that we are continuing to investigate."
Gearbox is encouraging those affected by the bug to email them at, firstname.lastname@example.org
