Rockstar Games Collection: Edition 1 Outed By Retailers

Retailer listings for a Rockstar compilation package have popped up online.

The Rockstar Games Collection: Edition 1 pack contains Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City, L.A. Noire, Midnight Club: Los Angeles Complete Edition, and Red Dead Redemption all in one box.

The compilation is listed on Buy.com and CD Universe.com, carrying a November 13th release date and a $59.99 price point in North America.

You can see a copy of the cover art for the PS3 version below. You would presume that a Xbox 360 version is incoming also. You would presume.

Rockstar isn't commenting.

If I hadn't already smashed all these games this would be the first game collection to rival The Orange box for value. Amazing.

La Noire was four discs (without DLC), GTA complete is two discs, thats a minimum of six discs right there.

No DLC for Red Dead or LA Noire. ONLY the DLC for GTA IV. That is strange indeed. Don't get me wrong, it's an amazing package but it's a weird selection.

If you didn't own any of these games, this might be the best bundle ever concieved. Sadly, I beat (and loved) those.

Awesome value for money. Shame I've already beaten LA Noire, and will be pick up RDR: Undead Nightmare for £5 in 2 days, otherwise I'd definitely grab me this.

As for it being Edition 1? Well, what else could they throw in for Edition 2?

GTA IV, Bully: Scholarship Edition, Rockstar Table Tennis & Undead Nightmare

Nice package but I had played them all so this is good for newcomers and fans. So I not get it. Look forward GTA V next year.

#22 You know you can not refund for Max Payne Season Pass. Almost all things you buy in marketplace and most of them all tell you that you cannot refund so if you buy once on item then that is you can't refund. Important to remember for think before buy.

I was just going to make a point to that @22.

This is what they spent all their time on instead of releasing the promised Max Payne DLC?

@23, lol I know man. I'm just a little frustrated that Rockstar has been incredibly inconsistent with their DLC support. especially after consolidating their content, they still are about a month behind schedule.

I'm not sure if his is even real guys. The only places that have a listing go it are buy.com and cduniverse.com, and cduniverse says it comes out November 13. Also Take Two and Rockstar haven't said anything about the bundle. Also about the discs, they would have to either have 6 discs like everyone is saying, or like @11 said which it could have Games on Demand codes inside. But the one I think it is gonna be, which no one has said yet, is it might be in a big box and each game will be in the box.

Would of been MUCH better If it was GTA III, GTA Vice City, GTA San Andraes, Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition, Red Dead Revolver and Max Payne 2 instead, that would be an instant pre order right there

"All winners of IGN's Editors' Choice Awards"

Certainly they could've used a better criteria than that for choosing these games.

Why even bother releasing something like this without the DLC? They are good... but old games.

Would be better to just do 3 games with ALL the DLC then 4 games without.

Full GTA IV, Full Red Dead, and Full L.A. Noire. 20 bucks each is fair... but only with all the content.

I do agree, those are the most random genres put together... Why would I want a racing game with LA Noire and GTA? Seems stupid, but then I already played all that I wanted, so I guess this is aimed at late starters.

@7...my complete edition of L.A. Noire had four discs....and no the DLC wasn't downloaded...it's on the discs...built into the mission structure as if it was never meant to be DLC...but that's another argument, i guess. bottom line is, i bet it's like resident evil 5 gold edition...any of the 'complete' stuff will come in the form ona a token...so don't count on 6 discs mandatory

one disc for both GTA add ons, one for RDR one for MC (maybe) four for LAN that's the only way i see the 60 dollar tag working is if there is 6 discs...the newest game in the box is pushing 2 years old.

@40....lmao have you ever played these games on ps3? they can look better all they want...won't stop the gta games from dropping frame rate like disco came back.
@39....GTA is just an amalgam of all these genres anyway.
