Assassin's Creed III Interview - Matt Turner Talks Revolution and Revitalisation

Are you a bit tired of the Assassin's Creed series? Feel that you've stabbed too many Templars, clambered up too many buildings and dived into too many hay bales? Think again. Assassin's Creed III shakes things up considerably, chucking out what was stale and boring, revitalising what was overfamiliar and breathing new life into the series with some compelling new ideas.

But don't just take our word for it. If our recent preview hasn't convinced you then maybe Matt Turner can. Matt is a scriptwriter for the game, helping to ensure that new boy Connor's adventures feel just as exciting as his predecessors. Check out our interview for more on revolution, revitalisation and something else begining with R. Boom!

Assassin's Creed III launches on October 30th in North America and October 31st in Europe.

Could be the first AC that I enjoy since AC2. I didn't care too much for Brotherhood and I haven't tried Revelations yet.

Every time I watch or read a new interview I just get more pumped for this game. While there are still a number of other locations I feel would have been more interesting and fun, it's reassuring to know that the people behind AC are so excited and passionate about it. Most importantly, they are thorough in the history and details while making the obvious changes for entertainment value.

I can't wait! I'm totally sold on the Revolution part of the game; I just would like to know what's going on with Desmond...

@3. How did you not like Brotherhood? If I remember right it was basically AC2 with a few new features. Not trolling, just curious.

I meant to say @1 not 3. Typing on an iPhone doesn't always go as planned.

@3 I'd also like to know what's going on with Desmond, but I suppose I can wait another 13 days to find out. I'm actually glad they're being tight lipped on his side of the story.

So first CoD get an overhaul and now this. Pretty solid stuff=) But still did not hear if this will end Desmonds story line or not, because I will not be buying another AC if it doesn't... At least CoD doesn't require me to play preview games in order to enjoy current story...
