It's been eight years since Doom 3 first saw the light of day - or the dark of Mars - and next year, the Doom series will be celebrating 20 years. No other franchise does corridor shooting like Doom, and back in the day Doom 3 was the scariest shooter around.
But have the years been kind to Doom 3? Does it still hold up against today's crop of first-person shooters? And how does id's HD makeover fare? The Resurrection of Evil expansion is in there too, as well as the Lost Mission content, available for the first time. Is Doom 3: BFG Edition a generous slice of diabolical demon death?
