When we embarked on a mission to find all seven of Halo 4’s terminals, we never thought things would lead us to the depth and intrigue that laid waiting for us at the end of our journey.
Not only have we had the chance to whip up a Halo 4 terminal guide in the days preceding the game’s launch, you know, so you can get that 50G achievement with ease, but we’ve also had chance to check out the marvellous surprise waiting for us and now you can too. Below, in addition to the terminal guide, we’re able to bring you the very unlockable videos that serve as your reward for finding all the terminals. But wait, there’s more… or at least, there will be eventually.
Elsewhere in Waypoint resides what is described as a “Section 3 Archive Video,” but in order to unlock it, you need a code. The description says “Find all the Domain Terminals in the Halo 4 Campaign and pay attention to the “Cryptum” video – which is the last video in the set. See the symbols at the end? Yes, well, they form part of the code that unlocks said video. Notice the interlocking jigsaw puzzle like edges? They also serve as part of the puzzle. By the looks of it, it’s a 10 digit code, 5 symbols of which we have here. Now all we need is another 5 and the order, then we can unlock the video. Feel free to band together in the comments for the greater good.
343 has really outdone itself here with the brilliant animated shorts that you unlock for finding all the terminals and if Halo 4 wasn’t proof alone that the studio has the knowledge, passion and dedication to take the franchise to a new level, then this surely settles it. I recommend that you seek them all out for yourself and unlock the secrets on your own, but we understand that time isn’t a luxury for everyone these days so we’ve brought them all here for you to soak up should that be the case. As soon as we crack that code, we’ll bring you that video too. You know, because we’re nice like that.
