Assassin's Creed III
Assassin's Creed III Single-Player 'Leave No Witnesses' Event Now Live

Assassin's Creed III's first single-player event has gone live today, with 'Leave No Witnesses'. It simply asks that you kill as many enemies as possible within the alloted time period. The 'Leave No Witnesses' event runs from today (November 21st) until November 26th.

Replaying memories is fair game, so even if you've killed off the campaign and its numerous side quests, you can still go back and slaughter Redcoats to your hearts' content. The top scoring player will bag themselves Season Pass, while a random participant will also receive a Season Pass, worth 2400 Microsoft Points.

The Season Pass entitles you to all of ACIII's main add-ons, including the previously unveiled George Washington DLC. To sign up for the Assassin's Creed III 'Leave No Witnesses' single-player event, you'll need to head here. There'll be more single-player and multiplayer events on the way.

They are giving away two? two? that's just week should be at least ten.

The amount of time it'll take to reach the amount of kills needed to win, is not worth it IMO, The minimum wage is like £6 per hour the pass costs amount £20, just go to work for four hours and you can get it and then you can actually enjoy the rest of your time rather than just grinding over and over.

Any news on when some DLC will be released?

I can't see this being a very popular event to be honest. Only 2 people will get a season pass...seems a bit poor really. Need to finish revelations before I pick this up, way too many games at the moment for me to concentrate on, lol.

All you have to do is play the single-player. If you win, awesome. If you do not win, then you still win because you are playing an awesome game.

I agree with you both. Two winners is kinda lame. Should be like top 10-20 maybe. Anyways, the Season Pass (which I don't plan on buying) is easily obtainable if you work a minimum of 5 hours from a single day like XxStuartxX says.

I'll probably just buy the DLC seperately since the Single Player content looks interesting, but I don't care for the Multiplayer aspect of the Pass.

@5 why would someone enter a contest in the hopes of winning a season pass when they already have said pass?

OT: I agree with everybody else. If they were giving more than 2 away I might give it a try but for the time and effort I'd have to put into this I'd rather just go to work for 2 hours and buy it outright. It's cool they're giving some away, but 2 passes out of however many thousand people will enter this just doesn't seem worth it.

thats actually a pretty cool contest. i don't think enough winners are being selected, but the idea of doing this via the single player game instead of a the multi-player mode is pretty interesting.

Way to ignore those who have already shown their loyalty to the series.

@8 - I bet you know what that feels like, eh?

OT - Meh, returned this as soon as I beat it. Ever since ACII every game after it has dissapointed me.

So I assume this is just going to be who can replay the battle controlling the cannon memory enough times? You kill a shit ton of enemies in about 5 minutes just on that memory alone.

Nice to see a single player compo but that prize sucks ass. Anyone ready to play that much over and over again has probably already got the season pass.

Oh well. Good luck to those who try.

At least they made this open ended with no kill target to be reached. The multiplayer event they just had that lasted 5 days originally had a target of 3 million, got slashed to 1.5 million, and ended up around 1.1 million. D'oh.

Ubisoft released the community reward anyway since it was only one of those 'Abstergo Storyline' vids.

It seems every time a company tries to do something all they get is people moaning about it. I have said it before, would you rather they gave you nothing?? No one has to take part!

Let's just agree who get season pass and forget about it. Some MP skins, unlocks or xp would be more welcome. I have season pass anyway, so it's a pass...

@16 The problem with the last event is that it was in its own section of the menu >_> and didn't count the game types that most of the player base was playing. Therefore, most didn't participate in it because they didn't realize it was even going on, or didn't want to play a certain game type.

Well this is bollocks. Cannot sign up for their Ubisoft account system as my email is "invalid" apparently. So that leaves me out for this.

I was interested until I read only 2 will be given away then I kind of just laughed to myself. Can't they at least give us some variety with different challenges?

@16 We probably would have made it if people played the event playlist instead of the team objectives one. Every time I went on, there was more activity in team objective than event, even though they were both exactly the same gametypes.

whoever plays this game enough to get the most kills, probably enjoys the game enough to already have the season pass

Well I don't care about any of the future DLC for this game, so I'll gladly ignore this event. The George Washington stuff doesn't interest me in the slightest, and I've never enjoyed the MP, so...yeah. It's an interesting tactic by Ubisoft, though.

I think it's a great idea of giving away season passes but like others have stated 2 is too low for the requirement. To all those complaining, which other recent games with season passes has done something like this at all?
