343 Industries is set to add new multiplayer modes to Halo 4 next week, as Free-For-All Throwback is set to add Lone Wolf-only variants of Oddball and King of the Hill, doing away with the teamplay aspect of those very modes and giving good Halo 4 players a chance to snatch up all the glory for themselves. Beware though... They'll be pretty damn taxing for casual Halo-ites.
Suffice it to say, we won't be getting involved. The new playlists land on Monday 26th November, giving skilled players the opportunity to engage in something truly tough and challenging. Over to Halo Waypoint's Jessica Shea, throwing down the gauntlet: "If you've been dominating these modes with teammates, see how the game changes when it's every Spartan for themselves."
Haven, Adrift, Complex, Abandon and Solace will be the maps on offer, with support for up to 8-players to get involved. Oddball will require a score of 100 points to bag a win, while King of the Hill demands 50 points. Both FFA Throwback modes have a 12-minute time limit. Prepare for Halo 4's FFA Throwback playlists on Monday.
