They actually work hard to get Carly Rae Jepsen, but I've yet to see anything from Gamma Ray. I've been dying to play some of their music. Harmonix, I am disappoint.

Harmonix, PLEASE try to get some Michael Jackson in here. Hell, I'd kill for full Michael Jackson editions of Rock Band and Dance Central. Ubisfot so didn't do his music justice....

Also, the original Go Go Power Rangers ( full version ) for the 20th anniversary next year.

Sex and Candy is good shit, will have to listen to that again now.

As for Call Me Maybe, still miles better than Katy Perry or Taylor Swift. I'd rather listen to Call Me Maybe 50 more times than listen to Wide Awake or We Are Never Getting Back Together 1 more time.

The licensing for this track had to be somewhat pricey, no?

That stands to reason that Rock Band tracks still a good amount, or at least enough to turn a profit.

And that's cool with me.

Marcy Playground almost makes up for getting that prepackaged pop tart-in-training Jepsen. ALMOST. Are Harmonix really out of ideas? Next week we're going to see Gangnam Style...

Getting one of the (if not THE) most popular songs of the year means HMX are out of ideas?

It's not for me but I know it will sell like crazy and tons of people love it so I don't see the problem.

Sex and Candy on the other hand is one of my favorite 90's one hit wonder songs so I'm excited for that.

Sex and Candy: Possible purchase.

Call Me Maybe: Really? The likes of Jungleland by Bruce Springsteen, Funeral for a Friend/Love lies Bleeding by Elton John, Coward of the County by Kenny Rogers or Queen of the Reich by Queensryche aren't in Rock Band, but Autotune reliant modern pop rubbish like Call Me Maybe will be?

@34. This time tomorrow every football fan and their family will be hearing Call Me maybe on national tv at the Grey Cup half time show. If a % of those families own RB guess what song they will be buying the next day.

Just because you don't like pop doesn't mean other people don't. If anything, there are a TON of classic songs on RB. I would prefer more like this. I have a lot of classic rock, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of newer music.

I have over 1,100 songs.. Not much of that is pop since there is not much newer stuff..

Not that he will read this, but comment number 18, you may as well become a homo, if you don`t think that Taylor Swift is hot as fuck, more so than Carly Jepsen and whoever else combined. Seriously, you are off your proverbial nut. Also, I just got Rock Band Blitz, is anyone else getting horrible blisters on the side of their right thumb

Please see @21 and @14. Perhaps if you read the comments, you wouldn't appear like such an idiot.
Fail to see how one of the most popular songs of the year is 'bottom of the barrel' as well. This will be a hit with the more casual orientated fan, or the fan who has a family member/friend, ie. wife, son, daughter, etc who occasionally plays the game.
