Borderlands 2 has been subjected to more than its fair share of bugs on Xbox 360, and to its credit, Gearbox has been rather quick to address any issues with the requisite patches. Now the studio is working on a patch that'll be looking to squash a freezing glitch that's been affecting certain players.
"Some potentially good news on this front: A new Xbox 360 update for Borderlands 2 is currently in certification with Microsoft which may resolve instances of freezing for some users", writes Gearbox Community Manager, Chris Faylor on the Gearbox Forums.
"At present, that update is tentatively expected to arrive during the week of December 3rd – 7th," Faylor notes.
"We're hesitant to say it will address all instances due to the possibility of there being other factors exhibiting similar behavior -- that's something we're continuing to investigate and dig into with the assistance of Microsoft -- but we're optimistic that this will help in at least some cases and will allow us to better diagnose/address any remaining causes."
