A goldmine for rumours, LinkedIn has struck again with the profile of an employee for Ubisoft's Massive Entertainment - the studio behind Far Cry 3's co-op mode - reveals that the studio is apparently at work on a "AAA Online RPG" for next-generation consoles.
The project is also listed on Massive Entertainment's website, with a job listing looking for a Level Designer to join the team. "Massive is looking for an experienced Lead Level Designer to join an international team working on a AAA Online RPG. In this position you will lead a Level Design team in building the best gameplay experiences ever conceived. For any game. Ever," the post reads.
Additionally, the job listing asks that the candidate has experience in the third-person action games, as well as "experience working on an online multiplayer, co-operative or open-world game project." An online RPG that isn't an MMO? Maybe... Perhaps it could even have something to do with the rumoured Prince of Persia reboot apparently leaked back in August? Or perhaps that's just us clutching at straws.
