The latest N7 Bounty Weekend has gone live today, giving you the chance to get stuck into some more Mass Effect 3 multiplayer madness, with the usual set of requirements demanded to win a Commendation Pack. Here's the details:

"Event Description: Losses of industrial capacity have caused shortages of specialized weapons on several fronts. Population centers must be reclaimed for us to rebuild munitions factories, and N7s will lead recon and assault teams to prep the way for regular infantry to take the territory.

Individual Goal: Earn 75,000 points of damage using an assault rifle on any map at any difficulty. Points are cumulative across matches. Extraction not required."

Operation: Onslaught will be live for Mass Effect 3 multiplayer from now until December 9th. Enjoy.

Can't wait to get stuck into this! Be a good reason to use other assault rifles than the Harrier for some challenges as well.

Just finished both DLC packages for this so might get stuck into the MP to boost my final EMS to get the proper extended cut version.... nice timing for once EA

@5 Umm, I thought they reduced the EMS requirement for even the best ending. So people didn't have to play MP to increase EMS, as long as you did thorough playthroughs you'd be able to have a high enough EMS (even at 50%) to achieve the best ending. Or perhaps you had a train wreck of a playthrough and really need to boost what you have.

Not to be prejudiced or anything, but why do you always show challenges for ME and not say for AC or Halo? Just seem a bit odd to me.

It's not up in the US yet. Any idea what time it usually activates per zone?

@7 - Only triple A quality games get the challenge treatment.

I don't think i've played Mass Effect 3 since March, which is sad because the Mass Effect series used to be my favorite. Mass Effect 3 was just such a disaster and it sucks that this one game ruined the entire series for me.

@#14 I agree. ME was one of my favorite series. I bought the games, books and merch, but I haven't touched the game since I beat it. The ending was such a low blow that I still haven't recovered from it. I even bought one or two DLCs and just haven't even played them yet because I have no desire to play ME3 which is saying something since I've played ME1 and 2 multiple times each. Some things you just never recover from...

I prefer the MP in this game to the SP, which is saying something as I very rarely play MP on games.

I've never seen a game attract more attention from whiny douches than Mass Effect 3.
