Splinter Cell: Conviction Delayed

Ubisoft have confirmed that Splinter Cell: Conviction will not be released until next year as part of their "2009-2010" line-up.
This game was due to appear at this year's Ubisoft E3 event, but never made it into the final lineup.
"The way we build our [fiscal guidance] plan is always in having a certain number of products... that will not be automatically in the year," said CEO Yves Guillemot.
"It was one of the products that was in what we call the 'risky products'... it's one product that is now leaving to another year, but it doesn't change our plans."
Signs from within Ubisoft have indicated that the game is undergoing a significant re-work. Whilst details have been left very vague, it is known that Michael Ironside will no longer be the voice of Sam Fisher.
