X360A Review: Anarchy Reigns

Richard Walker

Released in Japan back in July 2012, for some reason it's taken Anarchy Reigns (known as Max Anarchy in Japan) ages to make its way west. But here it finally is, and for our patience, we get to enjoy the game at a budget price. Not too shabby. Grab the Day One Limited Edition and you can get Bayonetta and two extra modes too.

Offering a single-player campaign alongside its multiplayer core, Anarchy Reigns is certainly ambitious, giving players a selection of 11 multiplayer modes and 16 characters to unlock and take online. Can this kind of thing work online though? Or is it an experiment that's destined to fail?
