Didn't even know the game was broken... 100% without one glitch. I must be lucky when looking at that list!Friday, January 18, 2013 @ 06:49 AM
Wow that pile of fixes. Well done to Ubisoft. But I don't have any problems right from start to end in my playthrough when game launched. It's single-player. But MP so depth glitches and Co-op is way terrible. But good things MP and Co-op is not important for Far Cry 3. Single-player is big important in this game. Game of the Year 2012 already and now we need big Story-Drive DLCs for FC 3. Please Ubisoft.Friday, January 18, 2013 @ 06:55 AM
I count myself among those who 100% the game without the troubles of some of these noted glitches. But it's good that Ubisoft is on top of their game.Friday, January 18, 2013 @ 07:02 AM
I got through the whole game with glitches, except one where a Tiger was inside my safe house, fun times since i couldnt use a weapon. After I beat the game is when I started having problems. While free roaming ,my weapons would disappear or holster every time I changed weapons, reloaded, threw grenade. Hopefully this fixes everything.Friday, January 18, 2013 @ 07:03 AM
Nice list of fixes, never encountered any of these myself thoFriday, January 18, 2013 @ 07:05 AM
GuD ThInG I DiDun Bi ThIs BrOk3n Gayme. Or something. All improvements are only a good thing. I see at least 4 things that were troubling me (i.e. Loadouts being reset). The patch can't hide some of those object in SP that are visibly floating above the floor though :PFriday, January 18, 2013 @ 07:05 AM
I only had a glitch while playing poker... And off topic, does anyone know when the arcade game "Mars: War Logs" comes out? I heard it would be around the start of the year sometime.Friday, January 18, 2013 @ 07:14 AM
I experienced a few of those (weapons getting stuck on my arm was just odd, and fixed itself after a while - whilst Sam getting stuck twice on that mission was incredibly irritating). I've had a few hard crashes during co-op too. I agree that the game is a great single player experience, and these patches will add more stability and polish, so that's great. However, despite being a lot more linear, myself and a friend are having a lot of fun with the co-op. I'd be more than happy to buy single-player DLC for FC3, no doubt. But I'd be happy with more Co-Op as well - particularly if it gets more sandbox and less linear, and especially with extra achievements :) Currently hoping they bring High Tides over to the 360 and keep the free price point.Friday, January 18, 2013 @ 07:23 AM
MP is still brokenFriday, January 18, 2013 @ 07:26 AM
I loved the game but damn the screen tearing and texture pop-ins were such a distraction! Shame they can't fix that.Friday, January 18, 2013 @ 07:33 AM
Playing last night and it was bug hell. Every time i drew a weapon it automatically re holstered it, if i got killed it sent me back to the safe house instaed of near the mission start, enemies not dying with stealth attacks. Shame as i was looking forward to getting back into this after finishing off some other games. Its back on the to play pile now.Friday, January 18, 2013 @ 07:34 AM
i personally think its wrong that if you missed the collectable you will just have it updated for you.Friday, January 18, 2013 @ 07:41 AM
Well this makes the game even better Lol now to complete the Co-op missions!Friday, January 18, 2013 @ 07:48 AM
Only had some small glitches when I played Co-op. The 40+ hours of single player I played was glitch free which is incredible considering the size of the game.Friday, January 18, 2013 @ 07:50 AM
Thank god they fixed the fucking camera/rock glitch. That took too long, in my opinion. Anyway, now I can go back to playing one of my favorite games from last year.Friday, January 18, 2013 @ 08:05 AM
"Users that have miss the Relic located in Dr. Earnhardt cave will have the relic recover." huh? so will it be added automatically?Friday, January 18, 2013 @ 08:13 AM
YAY Now I Can Finaly Get That Relic In The Cave Under Dr.Earnhardts Mansion And 100% Far Cry 3Friday, January 18, 2013 @ 08:19 AM
I had two side missions glitch on me that I was never ever to complete because of it. Hope those get fixed?Friday, January 18, 2013 @ 08:19 AM
Sold my copy when I was done.....I'm regretting it now since they released the DLC and now I could of gotten that relic.Friday, January 18, 2013 @ 08:33 AM
I guess I'm lucky I didn't experience these bugs.Friday, January 18, 2013 @ 09:08 AM
I didn't experiance any of these until my recurve bow got stuck on my arm. It got a bit annoying after a while espically when watching a cut scene! But apart from that great game and hope we'll get some story based DLC soon.Friday, January 18, 2013 @ 09:19 AM
Finally, I got the Camera/Rock glitch, which meant I couldn't proceed any further with the story and the bow stuck in my leg glitch which was just annoying. Hoping we get some Dino DLC for this game, all that talk about "the island with Dino's" really has my hopes up for it, though I'm sure it's just a Jurassic Park reference.Friday, January 18, 2013 @ 09:24 AM
Wow, great patch Ubisoft. Just downloaded it and started single-player and guess what I STILL can't throw Rocks or use my Camera. Good job guys.Friday, January 18, 2013 @ 09:43 AM
Pity they never added the ability to PICK a lobby instead of just getting thrown into one... Never gonna get these last 2 coop mission done... :pFriday, January 18, 2013 @ 09:50 AM
Seems I spoke too soon. Even after downloading the patch, my camera/rocks are still inaccessible to me. Hopefully this will be fixed quicker than last time.Friday, January 18, 2013 @ 09:50 AM
Only one of these I've seen is: Fixed the bug with the weapon models staying on screen / stuck on the character arm And that happened for a second or two in a cut-scene type moment. I think I got stuck in the scenery a few times too I suppose. Anyway, gonna get through the coop missions tonight hopefully, then I've got the last few sections of the game for my 1000G. Enjoying this game a lot.Friday, January 18, 2013 @ 10:04 AM
the only thing i really find cool is the option to turn the HUD off. everything else would've gone unnoticed hadn't i read this.Friday, January 18, 2013 @ 10:49 AM
I had trouble with this, when I got on the second island it wouldn't let me access my weapons or weapons inventory, so I quite coz I couldn't kill no one...so Thank you for bringing this patch out :DFriday, January 18, 2013 @ 10:53 AM
Luckily I got most of the achievements without running into any issues, until my rock and camera disappeared >< had to start a new game to get that Distraction achieve.Friday, January 18, 2013 @ 11:45 AM
Had the missing camera glitch happen myself. luckily i had a back up save and was able to continue with no more problems. I like the list of fixes and hope there is gonna be dlc with achievements.Friday, January 18, 2013 @ 12:21 PM
Still one of the best games for this consoles generation. And already 1000G it.Friday, January 18, 2013 @ 12:42 PM
No glitches here. Got 100% within a month. It's a very fun entry in the series. I hope they release expansion packs for it this year.Friday, January 18, 2013 @ 02:11 PM
Didn't come across any glitches but would have really liked some options to hide HUD before I 1000'd the game.Friday, January 18, 2013 @ 08:35 PM
I only ran into 2 glitches, but they were no where near game breaking, one was actually hilarious, which was the molotov enemies that would continue moving even after you kill them. The other was during the second half of the game where you have to grab a certain document and then jump off the bridge and activate your wingsuit. If you activated it before the mission ended, it would retract and you would fall to your death if you didn't activate it again. But once again, only small gripes on an otherwise perfect game to end the 2012 yearSaturday, January 19, 2013 @ 12:00 AM
Mp was really bad, worse than future soldier Ubisoft is dropping the ball waiting this long to fix a game nearly 2 months? c'mon by then half of us have moved on. But the SP was my Goty.Saturday, January 19, 2013 @ 03:09 AM
So how does the "Relic #1" fix work? Do they just give you the relic? Or did they unlock the cave?Saturday, January 19, 2013 @ 11:36 AM
thats alot of fixes for sureSaturday, January 19, 2013 @ 02:27 PM
camera and rocks still dont work!!! am i the only one with this problem anymore?Saturday, January 19, 2013 @ 05:27 PM
I was seriously considering restarting the campaign just for the one relic lol thank you ubisoft for the updateSunday, January 20, 2013 @ 01:50 AM
I just got playing for 4 hours, couldnt see what weapon I was using. It was pretty interesting. I could scope just fine, just could see what I was shooting. So far thats the only glitch Ive come across.Sunday, January 20, 2013 @ 02:47 PM
The only problem I have ever had with the game(which isn't really a big problem just something I would like changed) is that I cannot join specific coop missions. You can find matches in coop, but it just puts you in a random mission, not letting you choose the one you like or just feel like playing. The only thing in this list that I personally encountered was "The Phonecall from Hurk (ULC missions) is no longer overlapping the brief of the 'Piece of the past' mission." which wasn't a gamebreaker, by any means.
