Kadokawa Games has today confirmed that Grasshopper Manufacture's Killer is Dead will be heading west this summer, thanks to partnerships with XSeed in North America and Deep Silver in Europe and Oceania.

Killer is Dead is Suda 51's latest insane project, which casts you as executioner Mondo Zappa, wielding a katana and a versatlie left arm that doubles as a gun and drill. It's probably a Swiss Army knife too. It promises to be like Suda's No More Heroes and Killer 7, which can only be considered a very good thing.

XSeed and Deep Silver will be bringing Killer is Dead to North America and Europe/Oceania respectively in summer 2013. You can check out eight new screenshots in the gallery. Hooray!

Looks awesome, and I'll be getting this for sure.

I'll have to make sure to be finished getting 1k on Lollipop Chainsaw and Shadows of the Damned before this comes out.

Ha i love suda's crazy ass games. Bought every single one and don't regret a thing. I;m not going to lie that lollipop chainsaw and shadows of the damned were a bit average but this game will no more heroes on crack, which is a brilliant thing. Can't wait.

@ #1

I don't see why Deep Silver being the publisher is a problem to you.

They're only publishing in it, not changing the game in any way possible.

#1 Lol doesn't matter which publisher will publishing this game. We all want this new IP game from Grasshopper to release in West. Glad Deep Silver pick it up. Thank you to Deep Silver. This game will be great since No More Heroes (which I hope so). Shadow of the Damned and Lollipop Chainsaw games is good but not great like No More Heroes and Killer7 in my opinion.

Look forward to this game lots. Glad artwork in this game look lots like No More Heroes and Killer7. :D
