Oh, how we love video game movies. From the awesome Hitman movie that was way better than any of the games, to the Doom movie and the Far Cry film that outstripped anything Scorsese ever attempted, video game movies are the best. So, imagine how happy we are to hear that they're making more of them, with some brilliant casting choices too!

Take for example, the latest Hitman movie which aims to reboot the movie franchise. Imaginatively titled 'Hitman 2', according to IGN it'll star Fast and Furious actor, Paul Walker as Agent 47! See, we told you it was a brilliant casting choice. He was right at the top of our list of actors to portray Agent 47, so score a big win for both us and the fans.

Hitman 2 from Fox will be the directorial debut of Aleksander Bach, who's made loads of commercials, like David Fincher did before making his debut with Alien 3. Will Hitman 2 be as good as Alien 3? Who knows?

In other video game movie news, EA's Need for Speed movie, coming in 2014 has gained another cast member, joining Breaking Bad's crystal meth head, Aaron Paul as lead hot rod racer, Tobey Marshall and his wealthy supporter, Dino played by Dominic Cooper.

The Hollywood Reporter, erm, reports that Batman man, Michael Keaton has signed on to play a “reclusive and eccentric host of an underground supercar race where he invites the best drivers from around the world”. He's the man who'll be hosting the Need for Speed races then.

The Need for Speed movie is scheduled to open in the US on February 7th, 2014, while Hitman 2 is currently still in development.

What do you make of all this? Do you love video game movies as much as we do?
