............and not a single fuck was given that dayFriday, February 08, 2013 @ 03:52 AM
world at war 2 would be niceFriday, February 08, 2013 @ 03:53 AM
I just wanna see a WW1 CoD. Oh shit! A civil war CoD! Fuck yes!Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 03:54 AM
I think that as it's more or less a given that Activision will milk their franchises to the point that they become dessicated husks, it's not really worth bothering to announce if a new CoD is coming, and instead perhaps it's worth saving that energy for when they announce that one isn't. It'll be much more shocking.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 03:54 AM
... and it's going to suck again for the 10th time.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 03:55 AM
No way... I totally didn't see that coming...Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 03:58 AM
Wow. If the Call of Duty franchise was a milking cow, it's udder would be as shriveled and dried out as the tits of a 65 year old woman..... Hanging all over her shoulders like a warm scarf....Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 04:01 AM
Really?! wtf, now I am surprised as hell!...Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 04:02 AM
CoD 4 remake with all the maps and weapons of MW-MW3 would be muchly appreciatedFriday, February 08, 2013 @ 04:04 AM
You guys do realize that this is by far the best selling game franchise currently running? It makes BY FAR the most money (except maybe WoW?). So is Activision milking it? Yes. Should they? Yes. Do people want more? Yes. You don't. Great. Fuck off and quit acting like teenagers. Treyarch's talents aren't better spent anywhere else. Infinity Ward's probably aren't either anymore. There's no loss here, but lots of people get a lot of fun out of it. This game should be made. Oh, and I haven't even played the last two CoD releases at all, so it's not as if I am biased.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 04:09 AM
What a surprise!Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 04:10 AM
world was 1 or 2 please ! but it wont happen as its " modern " i miss the old world war games :LFriday, February 08, 2013 @ 04:10 AM
Fuck off and quit acting like teenagers? Take your own advice there buddy. You're the one using childish insults and incapable of discussing things like an adult. Hypocrites. Tsk, tsk. The lowest of the low.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 04:13 AM
MW4 is no surprise.....Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 04:14 AM
well that caught me off guard :DFriday, February 08, 2013 @ 04:16 AM
They seem as unenthusiastic as I am.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 04:20 AM
How about a nuke goes off and kills all characters ever involved in CoD?Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 04:25 AM
"The Call of Duty franchise continues to set the bar for innovation" Activision be trollin'Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 04:30 AM
The ruin of gaming as more and more companies try to copy this.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 04:30 AM
I can't even be arsed to make a witty comment.....Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 04:30 AM
I've been COD free for two years now, I still feel the occasional urge, but with the support of my family and friends I've managed to stay cleanFriday, February 08, 2013 @ 04:31 AM
Wait, I went back and read the article... "The Call of Duty franchise continues to set the bar for innovation" Can someone explain that to me please? What innovation?Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 04:33 AM
And they may as well squeeze out another rehashed game before they actually have to make a new game for a new console... Today knows what will happen when they have to start a game from the ground up... Or will they just polish the current engine and use the old... It runs at 60fps... That doesnt mean it's good...Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 04:40 AM
I really don't see what is so amazing about this series...Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 04:41 AM
Do not read if you don't want to know the story because there's a massive spoiler in this message: But in the plot of the next game, there's a skip in the numbers. The next one is actually modern warfare 5, and because they skipped a number you're going to pay the price twice.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 04:43 AM
50% of the comments are people bashing CoD; how am I not surprised. My God the people around here are just that cool.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 04:44 AM
Whoopee-fuckin'.doo.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 04:45 AM
this didn't surprise me whatsoever but the fact that he said "The Call of Duty franchise continues to set the bar for innovation" did, so believable.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 04:45 AM
Haters make this game famous. Oh and the millions that buy itFriday, February 08, 2013 @ 04:50 AM
how about throw a complete curve ball out, COD: Medieval warfare set in the hundred years war and is basically the exact same game with swords instead of guns and horses instead of tanksFriday, February 08, 2013 @ 04:51 AM
I bet its MW1 HD or world at war 2Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 04:54 AM
There should be an embargo on these games.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 05:00 AM
This franchise is showing no signs of slowing down unfortunately. It's pretty much a brand name now, just like Apple; next to no new additions, overpriced software which is basically the same as the previous installment, and the fanbase will buy into it just because of the name.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 05:00 AM
Wow shocked never would of guessed this *yawns*Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 05:01 AM
"The Call of Duty franchise continues to set the bar for innovation-" HAHAHA, HILARIOUS.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 05:03 AM
Oh wow, I was hoping to find some more news on something Halo related, instead its just crap about some inferior FPS, seriously though, played like 2 of the COD games for achievements alone, the multiplayer is shit and the campaign is shit, gonna stick with the best FPS series in the history of gaming (Halo) no room in my life for inferior games like COD when Halo is so much more exciting, hell even Battlefield is better, takes more skill as well and far more diverse, COD is the same shit every game, wander what they will add to the new game that will be so revolutionary...HA!Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 05:05 AM
Wow, wonder if they might actually upgrade the game itself this time? If this game has destructible buildings and environments, I will be impressed, if not, then I don't need more of the same.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 05:07 AM
I don't see why they havn brought out a game with all the maps from all the games and all the guns , then finally the cow will have been milked!! Would prob still but it tho. LolFriday, February 08, 2013 @ 05:22 AM
"The Call of Duty franchise continues to set the bar for innovation" BWAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Excuse me whilst I wipe away a tear.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 05:28 AM
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 17. New story and 3 new weapons! NiceFriday, February 08, 2013 @ 05:29 AM
For all those saying "i hope its world at war 2" that was a treyarch game the new infinity ward wont go near it. Black ops 2 added some nice stuff to the story mode and that mode were you versus bots even zombies got a change. I probably wont get this as i have been burnt out of CoD since black opsFriday, February 08, 2013 @ 05:32 AM
@11 Exactly, you haven't played the last 2 call of duty's.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 05:35 AM
I'd like World At War 2 but that's unliekly given that the next game should be comming from the Infinity War/Sledgehammer Games. The blessing in disguise here is the next Call Of Duty will be coming out on the PS4 and Xbox 720.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 05:35 AM
"The Call of Duty franchise continues to set the bar for innovation...." I can't stop laughingFriday, February 08, 2013 @ 05:35 AM
So I heard that the sun rises everyday.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 05:38 AM
haha @#31...........I'd actually consider buying that.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 05:42 AM
@44 I don't care which platform it's on, it's not a blessing.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 05:56 AM
#5 You are correct. Look at guitar hero they just release and release until the sales go down and the series dies.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 05:57 AM
I honestly don't understand how this qualifies as news? In other news, EA confirm FIFA and Madden titles for 2013 release. You know what would ACTUALLY be news? Activision confirms no Call of Duty title in 2013. I'm not having a dig at CoD, I'm just saying that reporting that another instalment in an ANNUAL franchise is to be released this year is just ridiculous.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 05:57 AM
hopefully ir will be a next ge launch titleFriday, February 08, 2013 @ 06:03 AM
Cant wait for MW4, BO2 turned out to be shit which i expected. Currently playing mw3 again which a decent cod but nowhere close to MW2 which would be the best shooter ever if they just removed tubes/dangerclose/OMA. Hopefully they learnedFriday, February 08, 2013 @ 06:09 AM
Let me guess. The release date of this new CoD game is November? Just like the last.. five games for the past five years already.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 06:12 AM
Sorry. I meant six games for the past six years. N:ot five every five years.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 06:25 AM
Maybe they are going to start this year with Call of Duty: Julius Caesar. And then work their way up to modern times each year...Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 06:27 AM
You're all missing the point. Activision is a major corp with shareholders. This news formed part of a conference call related to the company financials. Shareholders need to have information about future revenue streams so as they can choose to buy, sell or hold their stock. This is basic business strategy for any corp with shareholders. What you're all seeing is this being a press release for a new game. It isn't - it's a statement relating to future revenue streams for investors which x360a has chosen to report on. The only question here is whether x360a should class this as newsworthy to gamers and not investors. Of course it is. Do you honestly think they'd ignore it? TheFriday, February 08, 2013 @ 06:30 AM
Shareholder: So why should I keep investing in you. What's your future financial streams looking like? Acti: Oh we've got some stuff that might do well, but we can't tell you because a bunch of keyboard warriors will be up in arms about it Shareholder: How much do you think this will be worth Acti: We really can't tell you as it'll annoy gamers. Shareholder: ???Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 06:40 AM
Another CoD? Fine by me. I wonder how many of the 'CoD bashers' on this forum will still be found playing it when it drops?Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 06:44 AM
Is this actually news anymore?Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 06:49 AM
Yeah.... Another shit game!!!Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 06:59 AM
Did I ever tell you what the definition of insanity is? Insanity is doing the exact... same f*****g thing... over and over again expecting... shit to change... /Far Cry 3/Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 07:01 AM
@58 probably a vast majority of them... What this game needs is a serious overhaul on everything, not just story.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 07:12 AM
"The Call of Duty franchise continues to set the bar for innovation." Uhm...did I read that right?Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 07:14 AM
@3 Technically, "Black Ops" was actually "World at War 2" since it took off where Reznov was last seen.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 07:23 AM
And on this day 12 year olds everywhere rejoiced. It's simple guys. Just don't buy it. we all know it's gonna sell a shit load no matter what.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 07:29 AM
Holy Shit! Really!? That's like ... totally unexpected!!! But will it be on this console or Next-Gen?Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 07:30 AM
NO! I never played the MW's and I like Black Ops 2.....I WISH they would just let it be and work on Call of Duty 5 for next gen. We don't need a Duty game for at least 2 years. AT LEAST!Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 07:32 AM
How many of the haters on here have every COD in their collection? Probably most i'd guess. I like a game of COD now and again but its far from my favourite game. I certainly have plenty of mates though who only play this game 24/7 and from time to time its fun. At other times I prefer to get lost in RPG single player experience. Everyone games different. I think many of here like to hate COD because its seen as the cool thing to do on here. Its a decent game. Sells more than it should but that's not Activision's fault.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 07:34 AM
And the stretching continues.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 07:35 AM
FFS. Just let it die, Activision. I swear if CoD goes into the next gen I'm done with gaming.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 07:44 AM
#69 - What he said! Why all the complaining? If you don't like CoD then don't buy it, why hate on other ppl for enjoying a well made game. Damn it's like a NAZI hit sqaud comes out on this site the second anyone mentions CoD..Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 07:44 AM
@71 see ya then, they wont stop cause its 100% confirmed CoD will be there in the next genFriday, February 08, 2013 @ 07:47 AM
#11 Lmao ya sure thats why "The Sims" series is selling more than the "COD" series and then we have "Mario" and "The Legend of Zelda" lol calm down #11 just calm down and COD is no where near close to their sells lol kids these days lolFriday, February 08, 2013 @ 07:52 AM
@2 I laughed an laughed and laughedFriday, February 08, 2013 @ 08:09 AM
What? New Call of Duty game is coming out? Mind = blown.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 08:16 AM
CoD Copy of DuplicatesFriday, February 08, 2013 @ 08:17 AM
Innovation and Call of Duty don't go well together.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 08:22 AM
I like how this executive is trolling gamers with the "continues to set the bar for innovation" quote.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 08:23 AM
"... continues to set the bar for innovation". I'm sorry, but is he being serious? It's the "same thing over and over again". The only one who might really like this is our friend Vaas from FC3, if you can get my point.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 08:24 AM
Still cool to post how shite CoD it seems. YAWNFriday, February 08, 2013 @ 08:24 AM
Lee u had been doing so good with great news articles and then u fail me and revert back to ur old ways by delivering something that's not even news!Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 08:32 AM
For all the black ops fanboys, the whole story was stolen from a game called "black" but nobody knows about that game because it didnt have multiplayer! also COD and innovation in the same sentence is hilariousFriday, February 08, 2013 @ 08:37 AM
i stopped after Modern Warfare 2Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 08:49 AM
OMG!!! A new CoD? Didn't see that one coming. While i hate CoD as much as the next man i'm doing what everyone who complains about CoD and Activision should do...i refuse to buy anything published by Acitivision now. But as other people have said most will still end up with the new CoD in their collectionFriday, February 08, 2013 @ 08:54 AM
I actually quite liked Modern Warfare 2. Is this because I never touched the multiplayer? But, this comes as no surprise. Nor do the hateful comments. And, I'd totally play Call of Duty: Vietnam or Call of Duty: World War I. But, I don't think America was really involved in WWI and we technically lost Vietnam. How can it be a Call of Duty game if it's not bleeding red, white, & blue while shooting foreigners in the face for Democracy?Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 08:56 AM
@86.........Try Spec Ops: The Line and you will see how to actually do a story in shooter, even if it is ripped off from numerous films and booksFriday, February 08, 2013 @ 08:58 AM
In other news, the sky is blue, the sun came up today, oh, and this just in, man has walked on the moon.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 09:02 AM
@2 you are like a BOSS. Well said. @11 Do u even lift? This is a IW/Sledgehammer title, so I'll prob buy it....on sale...on black Friday.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 09:04 AM
@87...loved that game. Just completed it (except FuBar difficulty) and enjoyed every minute.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 09:15 AM
@11 agreed. mw4 would be an awful idea.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 09:22 AM
I hope you realize that half of CoD's population is teenagers, you dolt.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 09:36 AM
I remember when IW was THE company for Call of Duty, and Treyarch was not. Torch changed hands in my books. Black Ops and Black Ops 2 just feel like more finished games than MW2 and MW3 did.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 09:49 AM
Wow 93 comments and counting, I had no idea you lot cared.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 09:53 AM
Wasnt expecting this, I just spat my drink is all over the screen .... Lies who didnt see this coming. I already know this game is gonna suck like the last number haveFriday, February 08, 2013 @ 09:58 AM
Thank you @ 57, you restored my hope in gamers. Started to think there are only zombies left, who jump right away to blurp in their pointless thoughts (?) whenever an article shows up about a game they not even interested. Good to see some brain activity. Am I the only one here who don't give a fuck about how the MP works out? I play and pretty much enjoy the SP, that's it.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 09:59 AM
If this MW4 is like the third one I won't be buying it.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 10:04 AM
Super Mario Bros->SMB 2->SMB 3-->Super Mario 64=Innovation. The Legend of Zelda->Zelda II->Link to the Past->Ocarina of Time->Wind Waker->Twilight Princess=Innovation. Final Fantasy VI->FFVII=Innovation. Dishonored=Innovation. ... CoD? Not so much.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 10:05 AM
I'd like another WW2 game, actually. And I don't care what the haters say. Call of Duty is really not a bad game. I have fun every time I play it.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 10:17 AM
I agree that WW2 would be a great setting. I haven't played a WW2 game since WaW, but I had a really great time playing it, and I kept playing it the longest compared to any other CoD game I have bought. Pacific Theatre was really fun, and helped create diversity between factions, because when switching between that and the Eastern Front it really made character switches timely and fresh, because the entire setting and mood would change. Lately the characters have been too similar for me to really care, wow the more I talk about WaW the more I want a new WW2 GAME!Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 10:26 AM
Oh, you people won't buy CoD? Tell me then why their sales are rising to the max.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 10:30 AM
I got BLOPS 2 for free and played if for 2 days. It was not worth it for free, I dont see how people like and continue to play that game.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 10:33 AM
@102 because it was good? Some people like things you don't like, I know crazy.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 10:55 AM
This is news? I guessed this in 2005.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 11:01 AM
@11 Agreed. Though so long as bitching about the series makes people feel better about themselves, this mentality is unfortunately only going to increase. @14 Childish insults? If he'd used the term 'Fag' or what-not, maybe, but all he said was 'Stop acting like Teenagers'. Which isn't a childish insult at all. OT: Hardly surprising news. The surprising news will be when the comments about 'Milking the series into the ground' disappear. Seriously guys, you've been posting that shtick since Black Ops 1... and the series is still here. Online shooters frankly bore me nowadays, but thank god I have better things to do than bitch about it.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 11:35 AM
I wanna go back to namFriday, February 08, 2013 @ 12:12 PM
@37 Someone's never played some Hat Fortress 2.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 12:12 PM
Treyarch is superior now ever since Black Ops, IMO. Infinity Ward needs to go back to what they did with Call of Duty 2 and 4, innovating ideas!Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 12:27 PM
...AND people are going whine, bitch complain on the rehashed craptacular game...try to boycott the COD franchies again and be Hypocrite's. Another year about the next Crap of Duty that even me knew it was going to happen, *Yawn* put real game news update up than this same crap...Aint going to put 2 cents in another COD game ever again after B.O.1., going to put my real hard earned cash into something deserving to buy! - PeaceFriday, February 08, 2013 @ 12:47 PM
CoD sets the bar for innovation among all games with Call of Duty in the title. Though the bar hasn't really been raised since what, 2006? When the hell did CoD 2 come out, cause that shit was the bomb.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 12:58 PM
Cant WaitFriday, February 08, 2013 @ 01:03 PM
@11, the only guy with a fucking brain, and gets 9 downvotes. How stupid can this community be?Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 01:15 PM
@112 I completely agree. #11 was telling the complete truth. I hate the COD games now. They're doing way too many, but they know they can get people's money for making the same game with a different title then why shouldn't they. I sure wouldFriday, February 08, 2013 @ 01:18 PM
I'd like to see a COD set in WWI. Multiplayer killstreaks range from a artillery attack, gas attack, a swarm of biplanes, and a giant zeppelin.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 01:21 PM
hey should make a Call of Duty set in the battle of Waterloo for shits and gigglesFriday, February 08, 2013 @ 01:26 PM
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ztVMib1T4T4 My ResponseFriday, February 08, 2013 @ 01:31 PM
@2 you are the same tard that will be buying it , when it comes out so please don't make me laugh -1Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 01:45 PM
Please quit making them they are the exactly the same every year multiplayer wise.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 01:52 PM
@115, thats impossible, the player wouldn't be able to run around screaming, shooting bullets everywhere.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 02:09 PM
I will ONLY buy this if it is a next-gen title – otherwise, I don't see how this game can be any more "innovative".Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 03:19 PM
Im waiting for a full zombie COD GAME and not that shitty looking game walking dead activision is making... that would be sickFriday, February 08, 2013 @ 04:12 PM
"The Call of Duty franchise continues to set the bar for innovation and we expect a new Call of Duty game in development for 2013 to raise that bar even higher," a.k.a a new batch of 14 year old's are here.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 04:26 PM
@11 I totally agree. @2 I give a fuck...Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 04:49 PM
We all knew it was going to happen lol.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 05:11 PM
look at all the puppets. lol. I don't go and bitch about how Shitty Twilight is on Twilight articles.. some people really are hilarious. "I don't give a fuck".. must explain your presenceFriday, February 08, 2013 @ 06:53 PM
im sick of all the people bitching about cod year on year. yes their is minimum change in the games but it still is the biggest selling game every year. also i guarantee that most of the people who say it sucks will be the people who buy it every year. i will admit i buy call of duty every year and yes it does annoy me how linaer the games are but i will never slag it off as i no i will buy the next one when i comes out. i wish there was a better game out there but the fact is there isnt and call of duty is alot of fun with friends. yes the likes of gears of war and halo are great games as well but the fact is to many people have a go at cod year after year saying it is shit when they are the ones buying the game every year. if you dont like something dont buy it no body is forcing you. i no this will get dislikes but i dont care people need to grow up stop moaning and get a grip to be perfectly honest. rant over :)Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 07:42 PM
@110 CoD 2 is still my favourite one. The furthest I got into the series was MW2 and I hate the MW ones. CoD 2 and WaW are the only ones I can still bring myself to play. My cousin and I still play CoD 2 sometimes and it's still fun.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 08:12 PM
First Guitar Hero, then Call of Duty. I mean, I know it won't burn out anytime in the next two years, but soon. This can't go on forever. Even Gears waited over a year between 3 and Judgement.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 08:22 PM
Bah it's starting already.Friday, February 08, 2013 @ 11:40 PM
@11 Do you know what it means to be biased? Your entire comment is biased... just because you haven't played the last 2 CoDs doesn't mean your word is law or even a respectable opinion for that matter.Saturday, February 09, 2013 @ 05:21 AM
@125 I must've missed all of those Twilight articles you speak of. I would've badmouthed them as well. :)Saturday, February 09, 2013 @ 12:03 PM
No... Just.. Stop.Saturday, February 09, 2013 @ 05:58 PM
Wait so is this Modern Warfare 13 or Black Ops 211.3? Wait there's no chance this could be a NEW CoD franchise, could it? ....Nahhhh no waySaturday, February 09, 2013 @ 07:27 PM
I was screwed the last two years with Cod, if its MW3, BO 2 or Elite. Its getting worse every year, I'm totally done with that franchise, until they will take a 2-3 year break to bring something REALLY groundbreaking.Sunday, February 10, 2013 @ 12:34 PM
@23 i think what there tryin to say is that were gunna give another dhyt game thats just a copy and past of last years title put a new number at the end of it have a new crapy ass story mode and sell it to all the little 15 year olds whos parents use the xbox as a babysitter. And thats what they call inovation folksSunday, February 10, 2013 @ 12:35 PM
And no one can sit and argue with me cuz at least 75% of the players in cod are teenage kids under the age of 15Sunday, February 10, 2013 @ 02:52 PM
@136, I am sure a ton of people can sit and argue with you. At least probably 43.68 % of this site. I think when I played online on Black Ops 1 all the time, most nights 84.32 % of the people I met were adults, sure some nights maybe only 43.68 % were adults. But whose really counting? Those were off the people who had their mics on. So the %'s might be a little off. I met a ton of cool people from playing COD. Just because kids get a hold of a mic and are obnoxious, you shouldn't write off a whole game (for that reason at least). EVERY game which supports audio you run into that. Ever wonder why they include a MUTE option?Sunday, February 10, 2013 @ 07:11 PM
Will this be a goodbye to the Quake III engine?Sunday, February 10, 2013 @ 10:31 PM
You've gotta like how the CFO sneaked the word "innovation" in there. I call "bullshit"! :PSunday, February 10, 2013 @ 10:45 PM
Now all we have to do is wait until the NBA finals in May for them to reveal Modern Warfare 4.Monday, February 11, 2013 @ 08:07 AM
love how everyone trash talks activision like they make these games. Do people know that they are only publishers and not creatorsMonday, February 11, 2013 @ 08:55 AM
I only got as far as comment #37, because minus one or two, I got bored VERY quickly at the usual tripe thrown around when it is anything related to Call of Duty. But speaking of comment #37, I just have to say this is a perfect example of the majority of mongs who inhabit the gaming community - a type of person who goes out of their way to say something bad about a game, just for the sake of it and/or to look cool because others are doing it. 'Sheep' is what I believe gets thrown around when speaking about CoD fans. Methinks it applies to the other side IMO. "Oh wow, I was hoping to find some more news on something Halo related, instead its just crap about some inferior FPS" The article link clearly stated, before you clicked, that it was something to do with Call of Duty. What EVER gave you the impression it was anything to do with Halo? Oh wait, you're just blind hating, like probably 95% of the comments at the end of the article. GG kids.Wednesday, February 13, 2013 @ 12:26 AM
Innovation my ass. CoD gets worse every year. Black Ops II Multiplayer is shit, so this is gonna be shit too. I'll still buy it just to play with friends. So what's the storyline like? Price gets depressed and starts seeing images of Soap and goes crazy?Thursday, February 14, 2013 @ 12:14 AM
I haven't played CoD since MW2, and I don't careTuesday, February 19, 2013 @ 04:37 PM
I'm done unless they can make it seriously worth my while. I'm pretty bored with CoD as it stands.Monday, March 04, 2013 @ 03:27 PM
#2 i completely agree civil l war would be epic especially since the french rev'n was going on at the same time and they used the american civil war to cripple Russia. it could be like waw in the sense that its fought on two fronts.

Activision is going to publish another Call of Duty game towards the tail end of this year. Just try and look surprised, yeah?
"The Call of Duty franchise continues to set the bar for innovation and we expect a new Call of Duty game in development for 2013 to raise that bar even higher," blah-blahed CFO Dennis Durkin during the company’s financials conference call yesterday.
"There is increased volatility this year due to the ongoing console transition, which makes predicting the future more challenging than during normal uses in the cycle. For Call of Duty, consistent with our past practices, we are planning for the main line release in Q4 to be down versus 2012.”
Activision’s typical release pattern for Call of Duty games is to alternate between Treyarch’s Black Ops and Infinity Ward’s Modern Warfare titles, which means 2013 may see the arrival of Modern Warfare 4.
We’ll have to wait and see. No official details have yet been revealed.
