As Crysis 3 nears its launch date next week, EA and Crytek have decided to share a few statistics regarding the game's pre-orders, the recent multiplayer beta and the number of views its trailers have attracted on the official YouTube channel.
More than 3 million people downloaded the Crysis 3 multiplayer beta to sample the latest instalment's multiplayer shenanigans, which in turn helped drive pre-orders of the game. Apparently, pre-orders of Crysis 3 have been 35% higher than pre-orders for Crysis 2, as a result.
Furthermore, the game's YouTube channel has managed to reach 16 million views across numerous videos for the game, showing off the Nanosuit, Prophet, the weapons and the '7 Wonders of Crysis 3'. Crysis 3 is out on February 19th in North America and February 21st in Europe.
