Armored Core: Verdict Day Stomping Onto 360 This September

Armored Core: Verdict Day is in the pipeline at From Software according to Famitsu's latest issue, utilising an enhanced matchmaking system and the ability to port over your save from Armored Core V.

The game will also allow players to choose which side they want to be on and participate in battles during territory conflicts, which its hoped will alter the game's world balance.

There's no word on a western release for the next Armored Core as yet, but Armored Core: Verdict Day will be heading to Japan on September 26th, with a limited edition lined up.

It'll apparently bundle the game in special packaging with an Armored Core figure and the soundtrack on CD.

Interesting. I like the Armored Core games, so this should be neat.

I feel like a loser for saying this but those hardcore achievements keep me away from the series.. I still haven't completed Armored Core 4!

The territory conflict reminds me of Chromehounds(also not/can't complete).. And makes me think one day they will shut down the servers..

No online achievements = buy. Need my Mech fix!

Hopefully a fair improvement over ACV, whilst I did enjoy it, the game proved flawed. Hugely ambitious ideas but poor post-release support from Bamco and seperate servers for EU, US and Japan held it back.

Watch this space it seems.

I haven't played an Armored Core game since PS1. If this gets a North American release, I might pick it up and give it a try.

@5: Ditto, love rented the first game over and over again, but never picked up any of the following title. Never see them on the shelves for one thing.

Anyone still play this? I'm still trying to S class and finish all subquest. Also surprised there aren't any Xbox360a teams or guilds on games. If the people who posted here all banded together, we could probably take over some area.
