Hot on the heels of last week's news that Armored Core: Verdict Day will be heading to Japan on September 26th, Namco Bandai has confirmed that the mechanised action game will also be stomping its way into western territories.
As we mentioned previously, Armored Core: Verdict Day will feature a whole range of improvements over its predecessor, Armored Core V, with the ability to transfer your save from ACV and an enhanced matchmaking system. You'll also be able to pick sides, and the world's balance is being redressed with you able to take part in territory conflicts.
Co-op and multiplayer is back alongside Operator Mode, as well as the full suite of customisation options you'd normally expect from Armored Core, for building your very own bespoke war machine.
No exact date has yet been confirmed for the version of Armored Core: Verdict Day coming to EMEA, Australasia and North America. For now, you'll have to make do with a tentative 'autumn 2013' release window. There's now word on whether the Japanese special edition with the soundtrack CD and Armored Core figure will be launching in the west either.
Oh, and there's a bunch of new screenshots in the gallery too. Behold.
