This would be neat for those yet to get into the series.Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 07:23 AM
I would buy the first game but it's 29.99 in Canada and is only 33% off so it's 19.99 not 9.99Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 07:26 AM
@2 i agree. i saw that this morning as well and was gonna pick up assassins but the prices are different here in canada like you said. i was shocked to see the first game so much.Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 07:28 AM
Assassins Creed 1,2 and Revelations are £8.99 with Brotherhood at £11.99Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 07:32 AM
Picked up TR: Legend and GRID yesterday but think I'll pass on these (have had them all on disc in the past) as they are available cheaper in shops - here in the UK at least - should I wish to (re)purchase them.Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 07:33 AM
nice, i started this series with ac 3, now i can play the other ones without overspending with GoDWednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 07:33 AM
Revelations not a bad buy at all. Brotherhood can pick up from Amazon for maybe a £1 more for the actual disc AC1 and 2 is a bit of an expensive option as you can get the double pack off Amazon for £13.97Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 07:35 AM
Would love to know how they work out their exchange rate though The £ to $ is nowhere near what they are providing.....UK is getting screwedWednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 07:37 AM
Would rather buy a disc version. They're similar priced and you can sell it afterwards... who wants to invest in something with no resale opportunity in this economy... NOT ME! Sod 'GoD'!Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 07:38 AM
@6 Brotherhood is better ;) AUS prices are different again (to UK and US), of particular note, GRAW2 is listed as 4.99 on the US marketplace, is 2.99 on the AU marketplace.. first time in the history of the world that a game is cheaper on the AU marketplace. I was hoping Crysis 1 would get a discount (RE4 is in the list), thats still 29.99 on the AU marketplace compared to around 19.99 everywhere else.Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 07:39 AM
its odd cause revelations is 8.99 while brotherhood is 11.99.Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 07:39 AM
Middle east assassin? Not for me.Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 07:48 AM
Would love to purchase these, but have too many unfinished titles. The next gen console will be out before I get round to brotherhood.Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 07:51 AM
@10 Extend that to Europe, basically... ;) On the German marketplace, the absolute values of the prices are equal to the US. (eg. $4.99 == €4.99)Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 07:51 AM
Are these the only ones on sale today?Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 08:07 AM
Ac1 is 4.99 at ebgames but go ahead and pay for the privilege of digital.Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 08:13 AM
Damn, would have picked up Revelations had it been 4.99. Never played an AC game before but am mainly interested in the multiplayer.Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 08:14 AM
Anybody having issues when buying these? I keep getting the good old "sorry" message.Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 08:15 AM
When the prices are shown in euros, the only change is the symbol in the price. Numbers will be the same. Of course if changing from pounds the numbers go bigger as well. Just like #16 said. $4.99 is 4.99€ for us. It's good to have US account to buy this kind of stuff. For example I'm buying all my Windows Phone games when my location is set to US because I save money while doing that because I'm charged with Paypal's €/$ conversion rate and not Microsoft's which is $1 = 1€. The real conversion is about $1 = 0.7€Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 08:15 AM
i don't see how this is an ultimate sale since they didn't even drop the price lower that you can get a physical copy of the game?Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 08:25 AM
I thought they were adding to the other pages of games as well? I guess no more $5 games then.Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 08:25 AM
For the Swedish players the prices are: Brotherhood 199.00 SEK - $30.74 or £20.28 Revelations 149.00 SEK - $23.02 or £15.18 Creed 99.00 SEK - $15,29 or £10.09 Creed II 99.00 SEK - $15,29 or £10.09Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 08:30 AM
Im sorry but i really didnt get into this game. Just didnt feel right cool idea thoughWednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 08:32 AM
Yesterday I Picked up Rainbow 6 Vegas, GRAW2 & GRID But Assassins Creed, NAW I Completed Assassins Creed 1 & 2 back In the Day & Just Lost Interest In The Series ever SinceWednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 08:46 AM
Kinda sucks since you can get them for the same price Retail now :/ Shopto.net is your friend.Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 08:52 AM
#23 yea that's what i'm thinking... That would mean that remaining games will all be 9.99 :( oh well... Waiting on l4d2 and portal2 :)Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 09:20 AM
@11 and to make it even worse, sony announced that the ps4 won't be backwards compatible with currently purchased digital download games. this would make me reluctant to buy any games on demand until ms explicitly says that the next xbox won't be a similar situation.Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 09:42 AM
Revelations is 20$ on the marketplace.Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 10:08 AM
@21 Or, albeit not as effective as your method, you could still pay with MS points, even if its taxed youll still pay less than normal. for instance i paid 440 points for GRID (which sold for €4.99, which equals 400 points in value according to MS cent per point ratio (800MSP == 10€). since you can buy 2100 points for roughly €19.29 (current rate), youre paying roughly €4.04 in real terms, instead of €4.99.Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 10:10 AM
^^^^^^^^ *on eBay, that is.Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 10:13 AM
@29 The lack of backwards compatibility and transferable date doesn't bother me with PS4. For one, I haven't got any plans on buying a game on two consoles anyway, one version is fine; Second, I have never bought a GoD. If I bought a PS4 it would be a fresh slate to work with. This new EA announcement with MS is a spanner in the works. If EA reveal they have an exclusivity deal with xbox then that is a bonus to me, I don't play many of their games and the ones I did they have subsequently ruined with more recent installments (Dead Space 3 for example). Moving to PS4 would make it all the more easy to evoid their products. If they also announce with the '720' that second hand games won't work then it's a total deal breaker altogether and I'll have no issues moving to PS4. Above anything though, I want to know if gamertags will cross over (IE: earn achivements on 360 and 720 will add to one profile - I assume so, as W7/W8 games, Kindect and Game for Windows Live all do). I moved to Xbox from Nintendo, no reason not to consider moving platform again with a new generation console.Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 10:17 AM
So far I'm not impressed at all. Calling out a super sale of 75% and even up to 85% and then when it gets going it's all 33% and 50% deals on old titles that can be bought for less in just about any store. I was kinda excited when they brought the news a couple of days ago. Thinking I'd pick up Borderlands2, RE6 and such. But for these prices I can just go to my retailer and get them cheaper.Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 11:04 AM
I know people say it sucks but why isn't AC3 on sale?Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 11:37 AM
@35 agree with you there man. When I saw Halo 4 was being reduced I thought I might buy it and trade my copy in if its cheap enough, considering I only paid about £35 for it anyway, that way I've got it on the HDD instead of using the disc, and installed it takes up more space than the GoD version. Instead I'd be paying a tenner less than I did on launch day, not expecting huge savings on everything, but you'd still think they'd have tidy deals on considering they said 75% and 85%. Can guarantee they're gonna save those for the games that aren't even worth £5 anyway. I'm going to get Resident Evil:CV and 6, possibly Borderlands 2 as well so my sister can have my disc and we can play it or something. Assuming it's reduced a decent amount anyway.Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 11:45 AM
@37 When they said that they probably meant one game of 60 is at 85%, one other game at 75%... (rest at 50% & 33%.Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 11:54 AM
Yet, no season pass for me :(Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 11:57 AM
@36: Because it's not on GoD.Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 01:01 PM
I knew they would pull this crap each day something different. For once why can't they do what PS3 does and leave the entire selection up for the entire week. What if someone is waiting on a paycheck at the end of the week and misses almost everything. During the Christmas Sale I ran into the same problem. PS3 Christmas Sale lasted all the way till New Years and I could buy what I wanted at any time.Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 01:11 PM
@40 Lol I feel stupid now. I thought it was on GoD.Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 02:14 PM
Assassins Creed II = "great game " the same price as ACB="sh*t game"other than that pretty good prices for ANCIENT GAMES,works for people that bought their first console yesterday, other than that meaningless ....Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 02:46 PM
Typical poor MS deals. My little brother has a PS3 & paying a similar price to what we pay for a years XBOX Live he was able to download F1 Stars & Sleeping Dogs for free. bear in mind both of these games are far newer than what is on sale here it just makes a joke of how Microsoft treat their loyal customers. LKike many I was very interested when the sale was announced & brought some MS points but seems like these won't be needed if current sale prices are anything to go by.Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 03:12 PM
@44 I agree I bought @30 worth of points and I will end up spending them on Arcade games and DLC. These deals suck.Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 04:26 PM
Only good deals so far are el shaddai and rayman.. el shaddai is the shit if u don't got it get it !!! LolWednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 05:09 PM
You forgot the £'s sign...... Fail.Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 09:57 PM
The deals are weird, and I would advice people to buy them on the USA marketplace because in France, for example : - AC I : 9.99 Euros (okay) - AC II : 9.99 Euros (okay) - AC Brotherhood : 19.99 Euros (o_O How 10 dollars could be converted in ten Euros, when, in fact, it would be 7.6 Euros if you buy it from the USA marketplace. Putting 10 Euros wouldn't have shocked me, but that's not the case.) - AC Revelations : 14.99 Euros (Revelations is cheaper than Brotherhood, that's non-sense, as Brotherhood is older).Wednesday, February 27, 2013 @ 11:43 PM
The next day sales are Resident Evil games they have them reduced right now.Thursday, February 28, 2013 @ 01:05 AM
Be great if people were still playing Brotherhood for the multiplayer.Thursday, February 28, 2013 @ 01:34 AM
Got AC Rev from GoD this game is so awesome recommend to anyone who didn't play it before. I bought it from GoD since I live in a country where games prices are skyrocket high so it was very cheap for me. In short: do I regret buying it? Hell no the game is amazing.Saturday, August 17, 2013 @ 04:24 PM
yeah why AC one at 29.99$? All the others in the serie are less than that!Monday, June 16, 2014 @ 08:29 PM
Just the other day I bought Revelations with all the DLC (Ottoman Edition) from Play.com for £14.99. Definitely a better deal than £8.99 for just the game on the marketplace!Monday, June 16, 2014 @ 08:30 PM
Fuuuck! My bad, just realised this post is nearly a year old, lmao! If anyone is reading, please delete these two comments!
