Written By
View author's profile

There's a nice big Square Enix sale kicking off on the Xbox Live Marketplace today, offering 50% off a whole range of content including Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Kane & Lynch 2, Supreme Commander 2, Dungeon Siege III, Mini Ninjas, Sleeping Dogs, Tomb Raider Anniversary and Tomb Raider: Underworld from Games on Demand, as well as a host of DLC and XBLA titles.

There's half off almost all of the Sleeping Dogs add-ons (except for today's Year of the Snake, obviously), 50% off Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light and its DLC, and Mensa Academy, Zombies Must Die, Puzzle Arcade, Geon, Mini Ninjas Adventures and a host of others are also half-price.

You get the idea... Check out all of the Square Enix deals below. The sale starts today and ends on March 18th.

Still need to pick up Sleeping Dogs, sounds like a good time too. Any of the dlc worth getting for it?

@1

Nightmare In North Point is a great, if rather short addition to the main story. Zodiac Tournament is also enjoyable, but I don't see it listed above.

Year of the Snake is also released today/tomorrow, depending on where you are, and looks to be another solid DLC from the previews.

There's a lot of great content on sale, but unfortunately I already have everything I'd want from that list.

What I don´t get: Why should I buy the "Deus Ex Human Revolution - Explosive Mission Pack" for 120 MSP when I get the "Explosive Mission Pack and Tactical Add-on" (essentially the same with some additional content) for only 80 MSP? Or is it listed wrongly on here?

So even on sale theres over 2000 MSP worth of DLC for sleeping dogs, meaning its over 4000 when full priced, thats over $50 not to mention from what I can tell... absolutly no sizeable dlc content whatsoever. I find it someone funny that people are quick to skewer EA, Activision, Epic, Capcom etc. for knickle and diming us but Square enix does it just as bad if not worse and yet people love to give them a free pass.

@10 - I'd gladly fork out that much money to Square Enix seeing as, you know, they actually make great games and don't throw yearly releases at us.

@7 It's a mistake. The Tactical Enhancement Pack is 80 points. The pack the link goes to is for both together for 320 points. Unless that was the only way to get the one of the packs in Europe?

Explosive Mission Pack + Tactical Enhancement Pack = 320 MSP

Which is still stupid pricing seeing I just bought the whole game with these DLCs brand new shipping included for about 240 (!) MSP.
I was hoping for a Missing Link discount, and I've got it after 2 days. That's what I call luck.

As for Sleeping Dogs, I'll wait for a complete edition where I get all these things for the 25% of the prices combined.

For some odd reason, I suddenly have 5-6 friends that play Supreme Commander 2 starting a couple of weeks ago, might pick it up to join them.

Hmm, interesting timing. I was actually looking for Anniversary on several places online, but nobody has it. Maybe I will invest in GoD for the first time, heh.

Also, I hope Sleeping Dogs come out with an Complete Edition. That's ALOT of DLC.

Sleeping Dogs for £9 seems great.

If people haven't tried Deus Ex: HR it is a truly wonderful game. I consider it one of the best games I have ever played. I'd urge against the explosive mission pack. If it is the thing I have it absolutely kills the pacing of the game and just makes the game a chore to play until you get back to your main mission.

I have all the Tomb Raider games and DLC packs. I actually got Anniversary as a standalone and a DL as I didn't know they were the same thing.

These look like pretty good deals, but I don't like buying games on XBLA. I would rather have an actual disc.

Interesting. Won't be getting anything quite yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if I pick up Anniversary or the last bit of Underworld DLC before the end.

Sleeping Dogs was good, but given how quick and easy it was to 100% I can't imagine buying it again just for the sake of the DLC missions. And I already have everything for Deus Ex, though I've yet to actually finish Missing Link. I get distracted. >_

Nice, I picked up Deus Ex after hearing that the movie is going to be written by C. Robert Cargill. I was wondering when the DLC for it would go down.

Gutted that Battlestations Midway & Pacific full games aren't included in the sale; I've been keeping an eye on the price for them for ages and my hopes were raised when I saw it mentioned but it's just the DLC :(

@41 I highly recommend it. Some may say it's too easy, but it has great style and easy going gameplay. Nothing too stressful, a relaxing game. I'd pick it up again if i hadn't 1000G'ed it. I wish they'd make a proper sequel instead of that Kinect rubbish.

Is it just me or does DLC content that is named 'The Missing Link' sound like it should already be in the game?
