Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen Trailer Reveals The Sorcerer's Tricks

Sporting a pointy hat and cloak, Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen's Sorcerer might look a bit like a Gandalf clone, but he's got some pretty bad-ass high level magic spells at his fingertips, making him a rather savvy choice for fledgling adventurers.

In this latest video for the upcoming pimped out version of Dragon's Dogma with new features and a massive chunk of new content, you'll get to see the Sorcerer braving the new underground realm with his Pawns in tow. Fighting against the Poisoned Undead, Banshees and Gold and Silver Knights, the Sorcerer has more than a few tricks up his baggy sleeves.

Watch the new trailer below, then look out for Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen on April 23rd in North America and April 26th in Europe. Existing Dragon's Dogma owners can export their save data to Dark Arisen to continue their journey, while newbies can start afresh.

Gotta say, I was hoping they'd show some of the new abilities, instead of just old ones. :|

Really enjoyed Dragons Dogma. Under-rated game in my opinion. Zelda mixed with game of can you go wrong?

STILL need to pick up Dragon's Dogma. I'm currently on The Witcher 2 (a must play for any fantasy RPG fan).

Been thinking of picking this up for a while now. If I buy this version I don't need to buy the original game do i? I was just going to buy the original then I saw this and it sounds like you may be able to start from scratch and play the entire original game and the add-on with this version? It's worth waiting another month to get all the extra content.

@8 Correct. This version has the original game plus the DLC and improved menu interface as well. Lucky you that you haven't played it yet. I paid $60 for the original and absolutely loved every minute of it. However, if early adopters want to play the DLC they have to buy another copy of the game. Still keeping my fingers crossed that Capcom will somehow sort out the issues with making this available digitally so I can play it. Absolutely refuse to shell out another $40 for something that should cost me maybe half of that...

I was feeling bored the other day and thought I'd download some demo's. This was one of said demo's. Having played it, I am gutted to have let this slip from my grasp, having had my eye on it before the vanilla game was released.

I only found out about Dark Arisen today, after searching for the cheapest place to get the vanilla game. To get this at the same price at just under £17, is nothing but a bargain.

Massively looking forward to this. And then I might get The Witcher 2.

@4 Have you ever played Monster Hunter? Another franchise by Capcom and Dragon's Dogma is a lot like it as well.

Enjoyed this game but not going to fork out for another retail copy just to get what amounts to DLC content. Maybe they will sort this out and make it available to DL.

apparently they are only releasing it at retail as in the main game they didnt put any 'hooks', as they were not expecting the game to sell all that well in the west, and dlc is apparently not popular in the east.

Epic wizard is epic. It goes from the question of how old are you to how long have you been kicking ass!
