Next week, the second episode in the Assassin's Creed III: The Tyranny of King Washington DLC will be heading to the Xbox Live Marketplace, bringing a new animal spirit for Ratonhnhaké:ton to channel as he sets out to stop the mad king from tightening his stranglehold upon the Frontier, Boston and New York.

Titled 'The Betrayal' the second episode sees Ratonhnhaké:ton travelling to Boston and acquiring the Eagle Flight power that enables him to cover great distances in a split-second. Simply aim the reticule where you want to fly to, and the Eagle Power will take you there.

You can check out the Eagle Flight ability in the trailer below, which joins Ratonhnhaké:ton's previously acquired Wolf Cloak from The Infamy episode. Assassin's Creed III: The Betrayal will be out on March 19th for 800 Microsoft Points, or you can get it with the Season Pass.

So Assassin's Creed now has Blink from Dishonored? Count me in!
I know a lot of people have complained, but I have still loved every minute of Assassin's Creed since day 1.

Very cool concept, especially with Eagle Strike...but wow, AC has changed so much.

Ahh well, I'll pick this up on Tuesday.

Cool powers. Hopefully we'll still be able to use the Wolf stuff but I'm unsure since you probably won't be able to summon wolves in Boston :S. If that's the case it will really suck if we have to swap over between parts 1,2 and 3 to get the powers.

@6 Yes it is, dumbass. Assassins Creed is as realistic as it can get with Assassins and the law of the series thrown in.

Nice new power. I love how the developers are using this alternate history to give us alternate gameplay.

I like it, if this were part of the real history storyline I'd be angry, but this is cool for just entertainment

WHats up with the stingy amount of gamerscore on this game? 3 DLCs for 265 extra points. Loving every second but feels like a bit of a rip off

It would have been nice to have the Eagle skill while getting those pages of the Common Man.. I always do enjoy SP DLCs so much more than MP ones.

lol! Oh, wow, this series needs to look at the original games before getting to far away....... eagle form? Such a goofy concept for AC. No thanks.

This is cornier than Ratonhnhaké:ton shit.

@ 20 ... a human falling into hay is far more realistic than a human turning into a eagle.
