Here's a new vid from 4A Games, showing off Metro: Last Light's nightmarish world.

“The first video released in a series of three, the survival guide prepares players for their service in the Spartan Order, the self-styled protectors of the Metro,” says the blurb.

“It familiarizes would-be Rangers with the dangers they will face within the different areas of post-apocalyptic Moscow: the tunnels of the Metro, the ravaged surface wasteland and the deadly transition levels in between.”

The vid's below, you can find our latest preview here, and the game's out in North America on May 14th and Europe on May 17th.

Will this game be more open world than the last one? Because I didn't like it being so linear.

I liked 2033, but the controls were a little, "Meh." I just hope they fix those, otherwise, good job!

@3 I think that was the main problem with 2033 but if the controls are great in this one plus the promising gameplay I've seen, then this could be great

The first one had a lot of problems but was still fantastic to play, really looking forward to this as it's looking even better just wish it would hurry up and come out already!

I have a feeling this game will be fucking amazing.

I loved the first and it seems they built off the issues they first one had...

Atmosphere looks fucking sick. So excited for this game.

Metro 2033 was a major surprise of enjoyment for me. I never thought I'd make the purchase but I then decide to get it from 'Games On demand' and was very surprised at how much I loved the game. Can't wait for Metro:Last Light to be released.

I noticed quite a few of you whinging about metro being linear, DUH ITS IN A SUBWAY. They have a habit of being enclosed and straight
