For a limited time Miniclip is making four of its Xbox Live titles available for free in the Windows Phone Store. Until Monday you’ll be able to grab Gravity Guy, Monster Island, Fragger and iStunt 2 free of charge.
That means that you’ll be able to boost your Gamerscore without splashing out any cash, with each title offering up 200 points.
Gravity Guy is a platformer with a - yeah you guessed it - gravity mechanic vaguely similar to Terry Cavanagh’s VVVVVV. That means that instead of jumping you tap the screen and gravity inverts, sending you falling (rising?) to the platform above (below?). I’ve made it sound far more difficult than it is.
Monster Island, meanwhile, is a spin on Angry Birds, in which you play a monster who throws grenades with different abilities at other monsters. Fragger is basically the same thing, and iStunt 2 is a snowboarding platformer .
All four games (with the exception of Fragger) are available for Windows Phone 7.x, Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 and Windows RT. You can find links to the games’ respective download pages below.
