Fancy going hands-on with GRID 2 later this month? Then you're in luck, as selected GAME stores across the UK are holding store lock-ins with the development team from Codemasters to be in attendance, bringing prizes to be won.

Anyone who attends the GRID 2 lock-ins at GAME will be offered the chance to record their best lap times, winning spot prizes for being the fastest. Codies will also provide food and drink for the event.

You can register to attend the GAME lock-in at your nearest store or tweet the relevant store for a chance to be selected. Invites will be given on a first-come first-served basis. Here's the times, dates and participating stores:

I was thinking that myself. Wouldn't be surprised to see this event cancelled due to lack of interest.

There is zero buzz for this game.

I hope AntBattlemode attends my local the event on the 27th.

Might as well go and ask to join in. Can't imagine it'll be that busy.. although it is a Saturday

The best part of this story was "via CVG". Like after all this time Codemasters thought 'sod telling those x360a guys about it.'

On the Game event section it looks like they have replaced Crawley with Birmingham on the 27th.

It's like they've weighed them up and tried to calculate which gives the attendee a greater chance of survival. It's a close call, but I would have said you were more likely to get stabbed in Birmingham. Oh well.

I can think of few things worse than being locked in a shop with people like me. I never really got why the concept is even that fun, I'd far rather wait and play it at home in comfort.
