Updated Just one more thing... Bethesda's Pete Hines has debunked any possibilities that the Vine teaser is pointing to Fallout 4. In response to Polygon's Arthur Gies claims that he's being teased with "fallout shit", Hines tweeted back with: "You talking about the Vine thing? Guess again :-)".
It's not Fallout 4, so you can cross that off the list, and as some of you have already stated, Rage 2 isn't happening (like we said, we were clutching at straws), so just what is it? My wife loves you, Pete... Give us some more clues, please.
Original Story Bethesda has posted a massively cryptic teaser video on Vine via its official Twitter page, possibly alluding to the announcement of its next game following confirmation yesterday that the studio is moving on to its next adventure, ceasing DLC for Skyrim.
The video is comprised of a spiralling blue coil of barbed wire and a spinning crackling old record on a constant loop. Looking closely at the vinyl record, we've ascertained that it's Air on the 'G' String by Johann Sebastian Bach, which you can listen to in the YouTube video below.
Naturally, we've also embedded the Bethesda tease below to see if any of you lot can eke out some additional meaning from it all. Is it a teaser for Doom 4? Is it for Fallout 4? Could it be Rage 2? Could it perhaps be a whole new IP? We're clutching at straws here. Thoughts?
