Telltale Games' Poker Night 2 is upping the ante on the Xbox Live Arcade right now and your seat at the table is ready, with opponents like Claptrap of Borderlands 2 fame, Ash from The Evil Dead movies, Brock Samson from The Venture Bros. and Sam from Sam & Max awaiting.

Winning in Poker Night 2 will unlock exclusive Vault Hunter skins for use in Borderlands 2, as well as exclusive Xbox Live Avatar items. GlaDOS from Portal is your dealer, meaning death or a life as a test subject at Aperture Sciences could be your consolation prize should you lose.

Check out the Poker Night 2 launch trailer below. It's available to download from XBLA now for 800 Microsoft Points. You can add it to your download queue here.

Got this today to finish up my rewards punch cards, it is super amusing and if you want to play a poker game in a non serious way, it's a lot of fun.

What other characters are there to choose from?
What other reasons are there for me to buy this?
I'm asking because I dig the idea. But I only played Poker in Red Dead Redemption or Far Cry 3 so far, never in any other game (except in RL).
What could change my mind into buying this one?

Looks cool but no MP in a poker game seems to miss the point.

Definitely buying this. Had a great time playing this and the personalities in this are awesome. I mean, Brock Sampson alone makes me so damn happy!

There's no MP? That's like putting MP in a Tomb Raider game! Madness!

It is not Bruce Campbell, but if we followed tradition, poker night 1 would have a 100% speechless Tycho.

I was very skeptical about buying a single player poker game but it doesn't
take long before it gets it's hooks into you. The humor is it's major draw-
I get a kick every time Brock says in his gravelly voice "I'm all fucking in" or when claptrap says "I'm all in your mom". That's not all it does right.
The A.I. seems a lot better than your run of the mill poker title.Games like Full house poker you could figure out and exploit the shit out of the A.I..
But here, even with tells it's a constant guessing game whether they're bluffing or not. I played all night and felt I already got my 10$ worth.

Glad there is no multiplayer... IF there was there'd be multiplayer achievements and online achievements and online tournaments and people complaining about achievements that require online access and in a few months time people complaining no one was playing online anymore...

I wouldn't complaining about online achievements because that's not my main motivation in video games.

I tried the demo, it's quite funny but without a multiplayer, it's a bit too expensive for me as the replay value won't be very good.

I'll wait for a deal of the week.
