Bethesda has today confirmed that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Legendary Edition will be heading to retail this June, bringing together the fantasy epic and all of its accompanying DLC and updates in one spiffy package.

Bundling the game with the Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn expansions, Skyrim's Legendary Edition will retail for £39.99/€49.99/AU$69.95 in Europe and Australasia, while in North America it'll be priced at $59.99.

As well as featuring all of that wonderful content, it'll also have all of the latest updates including the most recent title update 1.9, right out of the box.

You'll be able to pick up The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Legendary Edition on June 4th in North America and June 7th internationally. There's an image of the packaging below. Lovely.

Is it gonna be on-disc DLC, a separate DLC content download disc, or with redeem codes?

Coverart actually looks cool But I don't like the purple like for Kinect. Well, I've been waiting for this. I was holding off on buying the game so I could get this addition. This new content is on the disc, right?

Why is this retailing at £40 when Fallout New Vegas Complete Edition only retailed at around £25.

Been waiting for this ever since I got it on PS3 first. While not a mistake, I sure would have liked to have played Dawnguard in a timely manner...

Anyways, I do like the cover but the PC cover looks the best IMO. Why aren't they doing this offer with the CDs and T-shirt like the new German collector's edition?

Picked it up on release date, but still haven't played it? Picked it up on release date, but still haven't played it? Picked it up on release date, but still haven't played it?
I'm sorry for the repetitiveness, but I'm figuring out in what universe this sentence makes sense.

@ 7 - I'd guess that the better sales and better reviews suggest that they think they can charge more while still getting good sales off this pack. I'd agree. New Vegas was okay, not as good as Fallout 3 though. Skyrim is brilliant and 2 of the 3 DLC packs are pretty substantial and also great fun (Hearthfire is a non-event tbh).

This pack could easily take someone 150+ hours to finish and they probably wouldn't even be bored. I happily paid full price for all the DLC packs and the game and I definitely go my money's worth out of them. I had 150 hours on one character and over 100 on a second (who's save splinters off into different ones so I don't know exactly how much time I spent).

@3 I honestly wouldn't mind doing this game all over again I enjoyed it that much but I somehow doubt that its gonna work like that. The only game I've ever seen have another achievement list for its GoTY edition or whatever they wanted to call it was Batman Arkham Asylum.

Im suprised they are releasing this so soon, Skyrim is still $50-60 at most places. I figured they would wait for it to drop in price a little more so they can cash in on a GOTY edition.

it's $39.99 everywhere here in canada, including games on demand.

an extra $20 for all the dlc seems like a sweet deal.

Skyrim on release date: €60,-
Dawnguard DLC: €20,-
Hearthfire DLC: €5,-
Dragonborn DLC: €20,-

Together: €105,-. Even when you got the DLC half price in sale weeks ago, or paid €20,- less for Skyrim as a game, this is a bargain.

I wish it was a steelbook like the Oblivion 5th Anniversary release and I wish it had a sexy slipsleeve like Fallout 3's GOTY had with a nice metallic Skyrim dragon logo on it. Ah well, still going to pick it up for the collection.

Seeing as how there might not be another update for this anytime soon, I'll have no choice but to start over. That Blood Scroll glitch isn't going to be remedied anytime soon it seems. Well, I sunk so many hours into Skyrim, I can do it again! :)

I can't believe how Australian's get ripped off once again.
Aussies should just import it from UK either from UK online retailers or one of the various import websites that offer free postage to anywhere in Aus.

Oblivion had it's dlc on a second disc which installed to the hard drive, so it looks as if you have the normal dlc downloads. This might be the same.
Although if it's on the same disc or people say the load times are better I may buy this. After dragonborn, even going through a door takes quite a while now.

I got Skyrim for £12
dawngard for 1600ms points £14
Dragonborn for 800ms points £7
and hearth fire 200ms points £1.50
so I paid £34.50
But this is a good deal
