Latest Fuse Trailer Warns Against Injecting the Alien Substance

Those naughty fellas at rogue military corporation Raven have only gone and stolen the alien energy source known as Fuse, using it to their own evil ends, as a tool to instil fear and incite violence.

That's the set-up for this latest Fuse trailer, showing what happens when the alien substance falls into the wrong hands.

Each of Raven's leaders has their own nefarious plan for Fuse, but Overstrike-9 agents Dalton, Izzy, Naya and Jacob are out to prevent Raven from realising their schemes, using their own Fuse weaponry.

Fuse is the powerful and volatile substance at the centre of Insomniac's 4-player co-op shooter, which is set to launch on May 28th in North America and May 31st in Europe. Check out the latest vid below.

Interesting, I hope it turns out good, otherwise this summer won't be very "gamer friendly".

Apart from Blood Dragon today May seems a little bare up until the end of the month when we have both GRID 2 and FUSE dropping on the same day. A good month to catch up and complete all those 99% titles.

Looking forward to this despite not being given much of a reason to care. Just like TPSs I guess.

The ONLY EA game I'll be buying, just because it doesn't feature a season pass and micro-transactions.

I hope it does well, and that EA learns from it... oh hell, who am I kidding.

@6 I'm entitled to my own opinion. Plus this looks like another generic shooter plus its published by ea so you'll only get 70% of the game n the rest will be dlc

@10 Exactly. EA's business practices are ruining the gaming industry and they don't care about their customers.

@11 If you think any company "cares" about the customers more than making money, then you're a fool.

The game is published by EA Partners, which holds no ownership of the game, and has no say in how it's being developed. While I'm no EA apologist, at least try to hate EA when it's fully deserved...(which is 99% of the rest of the time)

@NO1KEV EA isn't the only publisher who deserves crap for the stuff they do. Plenty of the other publishers do similar stuff yet i never hear anyone criticize them if your going to criticize at least be fair about it, surprise companies want to make money on the games they publish. If you hate EA great, but to miss out on a great game just because its published by them to me is foolish but to each his/her own.
@Peace099 totally agree with you at the end of day the gaming industry is a business and all any of the publishers care about is making more money.

14 has it right. Insomniac are great developers. Xbox loyalists may not be aware of how talented that studio is.

This game keeps looking better and better.

@8: I want to buy this game to support those ideas and the fact this is the type of game I want to play but....I have £120 in credit just waiting to be used on something. DILEMMA.
