Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon hit XBLA last week and has been putting a smile on players' faces ever since with its tongue-in-cheek take on 80s action movie lunacy. Indeed, such has been the positive reaction to the game from both critics and consumers that creative director Dean Evans is hoping to make a sequel.
That's according to Michael Biehn, who stars in Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon as Sergeant Rex 'Power' Colt. While speaking on Major Nelson Radio, the actor said, “[Dean Evans] was with me on the phone last night. He was pretty jacked up. He was going into a meeting today, to you know – I think he wants to turn it into some sort of franchise. He’s got a sequel in mind.”
So if Evans gets his way it looks like we might be seeing more from Sgt. Colt and his neon-tinged island of giant laser lizards. As far as we're concerned, that's no bad thing.
